Wow, that’s neat. Feel free to delete the links if their not handy. Incidentally I am very interested in the Kurds for a variety of reasons. I see them as a significant ally for the U.S. in a world where we have few clear allies, and I find it very important that we do everything in our power to aid them. I don't speak Kurd, and won't be able to help w the Kurdish wiki, but I'm quite glad to hear that there is one (I was previously unaware of it). Glad to have you, Sam [Spade] 20:41, 3 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Kurdish
editVielen dank, ich bin immer neugierig :-) سڤهردر/✏ Sverdrup 19:22, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
(German is a understood but not very well spoken language by me, so this is in english) -- I am not very skilled with CSS, but I think I can sort it out -- I made a small try earlier today (when I created the account), but I realised I only had one of the fonts, and could not see the difference if I tried to change it -- it always showed in the only font I had. I'll look into it though. However, if you think you can solve it if you find the right instructions, perhaps meta:Help:User style can help you. ✏ Sverdrup 19:27, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Map
editI have to confess, I'm a map geek, so I'd be very interested to hear where you found the image ku:Image:Kurdistan perce.jpg. It has to be pre-1991 since it has the USSR on it (denoted with the French acronym!). Do you know who made it, and what exactly it was intended to represent (the actual ethnic 'boundaries' of the Kurdish people, proposed borders of an eventual independent Kurdistan, etc?). Bravo on Kurdish wikipedia, by the way, I'm an administrator of kw (Cornish wiki) myself. Lesser-used language solidarity! ;-) QuartierLatin1968 04:19, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Kurdish
editHey man, what dialect of Kurdish do you speak? I'd appreciate some help on my collection of "fuck the border" translations if you have the time/inclination. Thanks :) - FrancisTyers 21:52, 1 December 2005 (UTC)

Hey
editWhat do you say if we move Mesud Barzani to Mesûd Barzanî? Do you think anyone would object to it? —Khoikhoi 03:23, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
- Also Mustafa Barzani, Nechervan Idris Barzani, and Idris Barzani. —Khoikhoi 04:17, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, see Talk:Mesud Barzani now. :) —Khoikhoi 05:14, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
Heh, I know how Wikipedia works, I was just wondering if anyone would object to using the accent marks. However, now I am aware that that Barzani's English name is different. —Khoikhoi 04:21, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of The Movie Database
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Movie Database, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 14:27, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
The article Open Media Database has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No sources to establish notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SweetCanadianMullet (talk) 20:32, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
