AICSA
editHi, Eric. On my adventures through through Random I found AICSA, which I see you created. It looks a bit orphany at the moment! Perhaps you could put in some wikilinks to its members? (To be honest, my first impression was that is not notable and thus unencyclopaedic, and I was going to suggest deleting it... but I don't know.) What do you think? Please reply on my talk page. cheers. pfctdayelise 16:20, 20 October 2005 (UTC)
Able to lift 100 tons
edit- I believe that the " able to lift in excess of 100 tons" is quite appropriate to list in Thor's powers and abilities section. I have checked numerous other characters listed in Wikipedia (The Hulk, Hyperion, Gladiator, & Hercules to name a few) and they all have this phrase in almost exactly the same wording. Why would it apply to them and not to Thor? He is in Marvel's "Class 100" strength level is he not??

- I've given links and fair warning at User talk:24.74.50.252, notifying him of WikiComics policy and guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/Style guidance#The use of in-universe statistics and Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/exemplars, as well as of the consensus at Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics I'm going to request an intervention at the Administrators' noticeboard. Thanks for keeping en eye out on his impossible inability to work well with others. -- Tenebrae 14:06, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
able to lift/press 100 tons.
edit- Very well, per yours and Tenebrae's requests, I will cease in my efforts to maintain the "able to lift in excess of 100 tons" into Thor's powers and abilities section. I still feel, however, that this factoid should be included in some way in this section. It should be stressed that Thor is in the "Class 100" strength level, don't you think? He is among one of the strongest characters in the Marvel Universe (and my personal favorite), along with Hercules, the Hulk, and Gladiator to name a few. If there is a way to do so without violating Wikipedia guidelines and consensus, please let me know. With apologies, thank you. Kbmann--Kbmann 05:12, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 22:11, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
