editPlease do not write an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Erickavu N Sunil. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:15, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Erick, I got your email. We generally correspond on-wiki to keep everything aboveboard (openness breeds trust). I deleted the article for its promotional tone, which is one of the main reasons autobiographies on Wikipedia are discouraged. I would suggest you either construct the article in your userspace (perhaps at User:Erickavu/Erickavu N Sunil) or via AFC. That will give you more time to work with it without having to worry about running into a brick wall.
- Also, be sure to read this. We can't cite Wikipedia as it is not a reliable source, and certainly not enough to show notability. For inclusion, it would be good if you could include quality references (such as newspapers or books) — Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:04, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
