Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:
- Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
- Make your case on the article's talk page.
Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. PumeleonT 04:10, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Broussard v. School board of Norfolk, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. RJASE1 Talk 00:03, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, I didn't think the article was speediable under that criterion, but I do think it would be great if you could put more work into the article to improve it. That will likely increase the chances of the article sticking around! I have added some categories, etc. It would be good if you could add more relevant info, and especially sources. The more times a subject has been mentioned in published works (e.g. newspapers, journals...), the better a case you can make for it deserving an article in Wikipedia. Let me know on my talk page if you need any help fixing the article up or want to discuss anything. Peace, delldot | talk 02:32, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, Franco Lopez, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). A tag has been placed on Nickster, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Plasticup T/C 01:42, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

The article Diabolic (Rapper) has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Nuttah (talk) 17:51, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
