Speedy deletion nomination of A.T.M JEFF
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on A.T.M JEFF, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Teahouse reply
editI have replied to your message at the Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. - David Biddulph (talk) 11:04, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
- I notice also that you have a draft Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/A.T.M JEFF which has not yet neen submitted for review, but which has a number of formatting and style errors. You have many in-line external links (which are deprecated), but no properly formatted references to verify items in the text. I suggest that you read WP:1st and WP:Referencing for beginners. - David Biddulph (talk) 11:10, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
Hi, Etienne; I have responded to your latest query at the Teahouse. Thanks! Powers T 15:10, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
A.T.M. Jeff
editWould you please stop making the same edits to the A.T.M JEFF article without correcting the problems that you're causing?
- Jeff is not a music album and therefore does not belong in a category of albums
- Jeff is not a geographical location and therefore does not belong in a category for a location. He might be from there but that does not mean that he should go in that location's category.
- Categories that don't exist, shouldn't be added.
- Please stop adding unreferenced information. (WP:BLP)
- Basic words and country names do not necessarily need to be linked. (WP:OVERLINK)
- The article is unreferenced and has a promotional tone to it. If you'd like to remove the tags at the top of the article that mention these problems, then fix the problems first.
I've tried to explain this in my edit summaries but you don't seem to be paying attention to them. Why? Dismas|(talk) 02:13, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
The article A.T.M JEFF has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:
- All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:29, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- The single reference you did cite (Entertainment Weekly's "Monitor Column" for Oct 12/19 2012) did not mention this subject at all. It has been removed, leaving this biography completely unsourced. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:29, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

Can you please read this to understand me better
editHi
there i have seen all the messages, but i just couldn't reply to them cause i don't real know how to use the talk page. Also i have something to tell you.
1) I'm not the atm jeff guy, you guys think of, i only created this page for him cause i've check on google and he don't have one, that's why i decided to create one for him. I only seen him once at the show.
2) The reason why i used hes really name as my username, it's cause i had no other easry name to use, and that's why i decided to use (Etiennebaheza) which is hes real name so it can be easy for me to remember it.
3) the reason why i was asking if anybody could help me to fix the references, it's cause i'm new here and i don't know how to add the references, that's why i was asking. And please i do not want loose the time I spent in it, And i'm gone try and add the real References soon.
- I'll respond here the same way I did at the AFD: editing using the real name of another person is forbidden. Please request a new name if you are not, in fact, Etienne Baheza. (Although, I have to admit that it strikes me odd that you would find it easier to remember someone else's real name rather than your own. If you're going to edit under a real name, it seems that choosing your own real name would make more sense. But hey, what do I know?) As for the references -- it's perfectly legitimate for you to ask for help formatting references. This has been done: the references (bogus though they may be) are at least now properly formatted. Advise putting copy of A.T.M JEFF into your own sandbox
editI suggest you put a copy of the article, A.T.M JEFF, into your own sandbox, e.g. User talk:Etiennebaheza/Sandbox. If you wish to do so click on the redlink, then open a new page with A.T.M JEFF, go to the edit window and copy and paste the content from the article into the Sandbox. Work on the article there to improve its in-line citations and the reliability of its sources. Reason for this is to save your work in case the article is deleted. As soon as you can create a new username (with no connection to any page you would want to work on) and then move this sandbox across to another sandbox there.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 20:27, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
so guys what should i do now?? Is it anyhow i can change the name or sign up a new account using my real name??? (atmjeff (talk) 06:57, 14 March 2013 (UTC)).
- Dan61 has already answered this above. If your real name is not Etienne Baheza nor A.T.M Jeff then go to changing username. You can use your own name or you can make up a new name (as long as it is not someone else's real name).shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 10:15, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of A.T.M JEFF
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on A.T.M JEFF, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Dawn Bard (talk) 15:50, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
