Orphaned non-free image File:Spider Project Professional screenshot.png
editThanks for uploading File:Spider Project Professional screenshot.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 20:58, 22 June 2014 (UTC)
- Stefan2, the article, which was using this image has been deleted today, this is why image is not used anywhere. I am working now to restore the article, but I don't know how long it will take. What can I do to preserve this image from deletion meanwhile Ev2geny (talk) 21:40, 22 June 2014 (UTC)
- Nothing. If the image is deleted before the article becomes available, you can request undeletion at WP:REFUND once the article is available. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:00, 22 June 2014 (UTC)
- I've restored the image for you, but I've removed it from User:Ev2geny/sandbox and deleted the larger resolution version per WP:NFCC#9 and WP:NFCC#3b respectively. Cheers, TLSuda (talk) 23:14, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
- @TLSuda:, thanks!

Spider_Project_(software)
editHi Ev2geny, I just wanted to give you a heads up about the conversation in my talk page - unfortunately I haven't had a lot of time (real world work and stuff) to go over all the text and the three sources it might have been infringing on (some of those PDFs are really big). So, here's what I propose: I can email you the deleted article, and you can go over it, make sure everything's OK, make sure it is paraphrasing instead of just a case of copy-paste and then re-create it in your sandbox for some review. Is your email here in Wikipedia operational? §FreeRangeFrogcroak 19:55, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
- @FreeRangeFrog:, thanks for contacting me. I actually made a backup of the article myself before deletion (as well as its talk page). They are no both restored in my Sandbox. I see, that User:Technical_13 used the Detector tool to search for exact matches between my article and the references. I have now run these reports and studied the results. I came to conclusion, that there textual matches, but they are all totally legitimate in my view.
- Standard phrases, which are just used in the Project Management / Project Scheduling, which cannot be attributed to any copyright (e.g. "project management tools", "methods and techniques", "project management", "the critical path", "efficient use of")
- Standard phrases, which are just used in English language (e.g. "does not have", "point of view", "is available in")
- ALL long matches I could find are related to references. So, for instance, my Wikipedia article refers to the reference "The Application of Success Probabilities, Success Driven Project Management/SDPM,and Some Critical Chain Concepts to the Oil & Gas Industry in Brazil" and the article I refer to refers to the same article. Due to this there will be this long match (20 words, 135 characters). I hope this cannot be considered as a copyright violation.
- So in fact I can see, that my article was punished, because I tried to follow Wikipedia policy and to collect references.
- Can I expect, that this clears the issue and my article will be restored now? Ev2geny (talk) 21:19, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
- I actually used my own userscript which invokes both Dcoetzee's Duplication Detector and Earwig's CopyVios tools. I'd be happy to help you try and clean your draft up when I have a free moment. Lots of simultaneous projects going on at once right now. — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 21:28, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13: thanks for reference to the script. As I mentioned above, I have found no evidence, that there were any copyright infringements in my article. Ev2geny (talk) 22:11, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
- Well, now the article, which I restored for testing into my sandbox has been deleted again by User:Jimfbleak. Any way, my comments above are still applicable. Ev2geny (talk) 17:22, 27 June 2014 (UTC)
- Ev, I'm not sure why Jimfbleak deleted it from your userspace exactly, but I will say that in order to avoid CV issues, you need to paraphrase all of your sources and not directly copy and paste them (unless it is in the PD and properly noted as a "quoted" source). — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 17:44, 27 June 2014 (UTC)
- I probably did not express it clearly enough. The Duplication Detector showed duplications not in the main body of the article, but in the reference section, which, unless I am totally missing something, is totally legitimate situation. To make sure others do not suffer the same problem, I have raised this issues also with the Duplication Detector's creator.Ev2geny (talk) 20:06, 27 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13: So what's the verdict here? The additional deletion and the apparent confusion about what part of the article was infringing on which source isn't giving me much confidence to restore. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 17:40, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
- @FreeRangeFrog: I think I may guess, why article was deleted 2-nd time from my sandbox by User:Jimfbleak. I think the reason is that I restored it together with the Speedy deletion tag.
{{db-copyvio |url=http://ipma.ch/assets/re-perspectives_2013.pdf |url2=http://www.managementmarketing.ro/pdf/articole/284.pdf |url3=http://www.spiderproject.ro/pdf/implementing_project_portfolio_management_pmicos_2009.pdf}}
- This must have triggered something within Wikipedia alarm system and it was deleted by the 1-st available administrator.
- I have now restored it again without these tags, so one can check the nature of the long string matches and confirm my conclusion, that they are coming from the Reference section.Ev2geny (talk) 18:49, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
- FreeRangeFrog, apparently restoring it is a moot point. I actually rely more on the Copyvios tool that shows me where in the draft the matches are and not just what the matches are than I do the dupdet tool. I'm busy on other projects right now, but I'll look at the draft by the end of the night (in the next 6-7 hours I suppose) and clean out any left over copyright violations. There may be enough text left to do that. — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 20:08, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
- It might be that Ev2geny is right about the citations being the problem. The rest of the matches could be considered borderline. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 20:35, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
- @FreeRangeFrog:, @Technical 13: any news here? Article has been deleted almost 2 weeks ago and so far no evidence of copyright violation have been provided what so ever.
- I am new to Wikipedia, but I noticed, that in accordance to the Wikipedia:CSD#G12 "administrators should take care not to speedy delete pages or media except in the most obvious cases". Wouldn't it mean, that an opposite is also true: if no evidence for deletion have been made available, the article shall be restored as fast as possible? Is Presumption of innocence not applicable here? Ev2geny (talk) 19:25, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- I thought the news was that you re-restored it from a local copy and fixed the issues and that is why I said it was a moot point. As long as you took the time to reword everything in your own words and there is no CV left, I'm not worried. — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 19:30, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13: This must have been a misunderstanding.
- I restored article only in my User:Ev2geny/sandbox
- I did not change there anything. I only made work to show, that all long text matches were related to the Reference section.
- I wouldn't dare restoring deleted article in Wikepedia space, because I read this can be severely punished.Ev2geny (talk) 19:42, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- If Technical 13 is good, I'm good. I'd rather you move your draft to mainspace rather than restore the deleted content, but you can do that yourself. The title is not protected. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 19:47, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- I'm fine, I might suggest cleaning up the slightly promotional tone of the article, and reducing some of the primary links as references (for example, you don't need a reference showing that every language version exists)... — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 19:53, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13: thank you for your feedback. Just before article was deleted I was about to contact you to ask to review it again as I had done quite substantial work on extra finding reliable and independent sources after your initial comments several months ago. I also provided point to point comments on your feedback.
- @FreeRangeFrog: I would very much prefer you to restore the original article due to the following reasons:
- I would like to retain all the change history (this is the major wikipedia feature at the end of the day). Especially as I was not the only contributor and this would be a disrespect for other people to remove the traces of their involvement.
- I would like to have the talk page with all its change history. There was a lot of efforts put in it as well.
- But what are actually your reservations in restoring originally deleted article? Ev2geny (talk) 21:11, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- If Technical 13 is good, I'm good. I'd rather you move your draft to mainspace rather than restore the deleted content, but you can do that yourself. The title is not protected. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 19:47, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13 and Ev2geny: The article has been restored, as agreed. Ev2geny, please continue addressing the issues I see were being discussed in the talk page (and the tags in the article). §FreeRangeFrogcroak 18:59, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
- @FreeRangeFrog:, Thanks a lot! Question: where can I find this "restore log comment", which you mentioned in a comment, when restoring the article?
- It's just a reference to the comment I made when I restored the article, which I didn't want to repeat when I removed the speedy. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 23:13, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

Pullover on high bar moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Pullover on high bar. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and There appear to be several variations of this exercise based on a search in Google books, more clarity is needed as to the types of exercises. Perhaps a longer article detailing the different variations would be useful. See here:[1]. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Oaktree b (talk) 02:19, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
