Revert explained
editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Beatrix Potter do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 11:27, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Possible conflict of interest
editHello EvgenySO. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about following the reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 11:27, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

editPlease do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Beatrix Potter with this edit. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Grafen (talk) 11:41, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Immersive book
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Immersive book, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ŞůṜīΣĻ¹98¹Speak 05:58, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Immersive book requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead recreating the page. Thank you. The article Immersive book has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence of notability for this new product; purpose of article is very close to promotional.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Qwyrxian (talk) 12:58, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

editHi EvgenySO. I'm an administrator here at Wikipedia, and I'm concerned about your edits so far. You need to know that you cannot use Wikipedia to promote projects/companies which you are involved in (I'm assuming you're probably the same person listed as one of the creators of "Immersive book"). Wikipedia is only to be used to provide information about subjects (people, companies, products, concepts, etc.) that are already notable. In general, this means only things that have already been discussed in reliable sources independent of the subject. For example, Immersive book is going to be deleted in 7 days unless someone can provide evidence that the product has actually been discussed in depth in multiple, independent sources. Generally speaking, we actually recommend that you do not edit any page with which you have a conflict of interest.
If you continue to attempt to promote Wikipedia, either by adding info about this product to other articles, or by creating articles about non-notable subjects, you will be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, or about Wikipedia in general, please ask me on my talk page at any time. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:04, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, change of plans, as another admin believes you are here just to promote your work. If you have some other intention, please explain here (you can still edit this page while blocked). I can still try to advise, but you'll need to demonstrate that you aren't here just to promote your work. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:05, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
