editHello, I'm Eyesnore. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Argaon, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Eyesnore (PC) 22:50, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello Ez darren, thank you for your interest in improving this article. However, your recent edit had a few significant problems, that should be considered first: The Battle of Argaon is a separate article, so I suggest that you add new sourced content into the battle article to avoid duplicated information (of course a short mention and link to the battle article could be added in the village article to provide a topical connection).
Secondly and most importantly: please make sure all of your edits are supported by independent reliable sources (see WP:V and WP:RS). You should always put such references directly behind the statements they verify - see WP:Referencing for beginners for more information about referencing on Wikipedia. Such sources can be offline (for example from libraries or newspaper archives) or even non-English sources, but they must be provided with the added content. Large additions of unsourced content will usually get removed.
If you don't mind a last tip: it would probably be better to change content in smaller steps and start with well-sourced relatively uncontroversial changes. With smaller changes it's easier to avoid mistakes, and occasional erroneous changes are easier to fix or revert if necessary. I hope these tips are helpful and you'll continue to contribute to Wikipedia. Please feel free to ask, if you have any further questions - I'd be glad to help. Of course the WP:Teahouse is also a good place to get advice. GermanJoe (talk) 00:10, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
