 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Nida Khan, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 08:29, 24 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Nida Khan, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 10:16, 24 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi, if you have a personal connection to the subject of the page, you should not be editing the page at all. You have a conflict of interest.
Please read the conflict of interest guidelines in full, but the summary is that if you or Ms Khan would like to see the page updated, you can request it on the article talk page (Talk:Nida Khan). To do that, you'll need to cite sources for the information. AntiDionysius (talk) 10:22, 24 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Nida Khan—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, FAISALKHAN4U. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Nida Khan, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 09:24, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
