editIf you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Request reason:
The username still reflects the company while complying with Wikipedia's username policy.
Decline reason:
That might or might not satisfy the username issue, but you haven't addressed the first three steps from the block notice. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 15:31, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

- I promise my intentions are not to promote my company. My intentions on this platform are to contribute to the IT, cybersecurity, and marketing articles as an expert contributor. Other companies have articles on this site with their logos displayed on their pages and they are not flagged as spam or conflict of interest. Can you please explain what am I doing wrong so I can not repeat the same mistake? I just want to make this right. Fogo Solutions (talk) 17:14, 9 August 2024 (UTC)

You gravely misunderstand what it is we do here. Companies do not "have pages" or anything here. Wikipedia has articles about topics, including some companies that meet our criteria for inclusion. This isn't a database of companies that exist. Wikipedia is not a place for companies to tell about themselves. Wikipedia articles are typically written by independent editors wholly unconnected with the topic, and summarize what independent reliable sources choose on their own to say about it. What you are doing wrong is that you failed to declare your status as an employee as required by the Terms of Use, please see WP:PAID. You also want to edit in the fields of your company- please see conflict of interest as well as WP:EXPERT. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about topics for which you have a conflict of interest. If you want to edit about other topics, please tell what those are. Once you have a good edit history showing your understanding of relevant policies, you may later be permitted to indirectly make COI related edits, but not now. 331dot (talk) 07:30, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
Regarding the logo, you claim that you personally created the logo of your company and own the copyright to it. This is likely incorrect- perhaps you did so unintentionally- logos are not typically uploaded to Commons. By doing so you have made the company logo available for anyone to use for any purpose with attribution(this includes competitors). This would mean, hypothetically, that someone could take your logo, print it on clothing, and sell it and your company would not be entitled to any money from the sale of its own logo. If you didn't intend to do that, I suggest that you immediately(right now) go to Commons and request deletion of the image. Logos are typically uploaded to this Wikipedia locally under "fair use" rules. That does carry some restrictions(such as being unable to be used in a draft) but does permit limited use in articles. New accounts can't directly upload images here(they can at Commons which is perhaps why you went there). 331dot (talk) 07:30, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
