Hi There. Not sure why I was blocked. This page was created to help a friend of mine who does not have access to Wikipedia and felt that Mr Keith Bothongo was now notable and a page should be set up for him. After investigation and seeing that there were enough relevant articles I agreed to help her. I always agree to follow the terms and conditions of Wikipedia and make sure each disclosure is honest. Having read the latest review of the article I will find out if I can improve it and resubmit it if deemed necessary if Wikipedia removes the block. I have also helped improve the Wikipedia page for Durban on a volunteer basis so I would really appreciate the unblocking of my account. @Falconfw Falconfw (talk) 15:01, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

I am happy not to write on Keith Bothongo for at least 1 week if that is okay with you while I gather relevant independent sources for you. I feel I have been unfairly blocked on this matter and would like to raise this on appeal. I request that my block please be removed. I am happy to write about topics around South Africa, Durban and other topics within my knowledge scope. These include amongst others Travel, Tourism, Film, TV, Entertainment, Arts, Theatre etc. If you are okay with this then I will only edit the Bothongo article in 1 week and try to gather independent sources. I feel he is worthy of having a Wikipedia article as he is quite inspiring for the youth of South Africa who long to hear about successful entrepreneurs. @Falconfw Falconfw (talk) 19:46, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

1 week is nowhere near sufficient. There are literally millions of other articles, why are you so focused on Keith Bothongo? That's deeply concerning. I would not support an unblock with such a restriction, but would consider one based on 6 months and 1000 non-trivial article edits, whichever came last. --Yamla (talk) 20:24, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

Thanks, Yamla, that sounds thoroughly sensible. I would normally support it without hesitation, but there have been so many economies with the truth here that I feel we should also expect some clear statement from Falconfw that he/she does fully understand and intend to respect our Terms of Use from now on. The reason being I have spent a great deal of time on this article and I feel it is worthy of being looked at for another time. unblock discussion

Hi there. In answer to your questions: My friend is Sarah and she knows Mr Bothongo and feels he is now a notable person. I have no reltionship with Keith Bothongo. I have no relation to Gareth Michael McGuire. That name probably comes from an email that was sent to Wikipedia commons. They requested a copyright letter from the photographer who took a picture of Mr Bothongo. I had to ask the photographer to send in a copyright release form.
