- I can understand both that running an encyclopedia requires a validation of sources, and that the policy of "validation of sources" may change over time.
- It is interesting to see how rapidly my disambiguation page on RPZ was accepted in 2012, with the page still existing. This disambiguation page leads to a new version of RPZ (a second, independent meaning), which is essentially a creation of a new term. That still exists too. It was created years before this became a standard technology in computer network defence, which it is now.
- In an attempt to have this site recognize a term developed by someone with expertise in the topic, your new policy deflection amounts to "not enough sources of which we approve".
- Luckily, language is just done by people. There are no gatekeepers of approvers of societal use of language. You are welcome to enforce policy and deny what is happening according to unapproved persons or publications referring to a term which your publication does not with to provide legitimacy to, but people just do what they do, irrespective of your "approved sources" approach.
- I respectfully suggest that while you are playing policy games the author of this term knows much more about the evolution of the influence on USA government (foreign) policy by the organisations referenced in MICIMATT since the original term, Military Industrial Complex, was used by USA President Eisenhower in his final public address in 1961.
- Language will be language, and Encyclopedias may catch up.
- See you in the future. 2A02:AA7:4008:AB6D:513F:3171:5F19:B157 (talk) 21:48, 18 April 2022 (UTC)

- So, are you ready to admit that this acronm exists, is in usage and thus a page to describe it is sensible?
- Just curious. 2001:8003:2339:F00:CE86:C048:FD4:75A1 (talk) 10:20, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
