[edit]
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Pulang Araw did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Moving pages
[edit]It's a lot simpler than you think. We don't want to do moves by copying and pasting, because that would break the page's edit history, but you also don't need an administrator to do the move for you unless the page has actually been move-protected due to vandalism or whatever.
You should see a "Tools" menu on the right-hand side of the page, and one of the links under it is "move". So while you're on the page whose title you want to change, click "move", and you'll be taken to a page that will ask you what you want the new title to be. So you insert the new title there and then hit the move button. Bearcat (talk) 13:12, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
- oh, i did not know. Thank you so much Bearcat, your help is greatly appreciated! Fanblade81 (talk) 13:20, 22 April 2025 (UTC)

[edit]I've placed it under semi-protection for one week to start; we can't jump to permanent protection right off the bat, but we can start small and apply longer terms at later dates if the problem continues. So if it starts up again when the current one-week period expires, we can put it back under protection for longer. Bearcat (talk) 14:46, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
Okay, I understand. Thank you so much @Bearcat. Fanblade81 (talk) 14:49, 15 May 2025 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:List of concert and performances of Filipino artist indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 08:04, 16 May 2025 (UTC)

- @Howard the Duck Hi, there
- where is the link for the proposed consensus for other editors to vote? Kindly advice. Fanblade81 (talk) 09:00, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Howard the Duck,
- I don't know how to improve the page, i just follow the same guidelines for other showbiz families in the Philippines. I can try to find other sources or by adding references to it, but it might take time because they were actors and director back in 1950-1980s and late mid 1995, references might be scarce.
- example for
- Santiago family - Cielito Santiago was an actress, her husband Pablo Santiago was an actor but also director and producer and directed many of Fernando Poe Jr. movies. Pablo Santiago has a tagalog wikipedia version but does not have the English version yet. I can create and make an English version.
- Barretto family - i need more time to find references.
- Thank you Fanblade81 (talk) 09:40, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- If you oppose the proposed deletion, you can remove it. I, of course, will have the option to bring to WP:AFD. Please thoroughly read and understand WP:GNG on what makes a subject notable here. Howard the Duck (talk) 09:44, 24 May 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Arcrev1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Angelica Panganiban, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arcrev1 (talk) 03:59, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Arcrev1 Hi, thanks for the notice. I know but I will eventually add citation later. I tried to add the reference earlier but it did not give me option. I'm using my mobile phone to edit, instead of my laptop. No worries I know the rules, I will add it. Thanks Fanblade81 (talk) 04:12, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Fanblade81: Thanks for responding. I know you're aware of the policy, so I just wondered why you didn’t add a source. You said there was no option—do you mean you didn’t know how to add references using source edit on mobile? If so, I can help you with that. - Arcrev1 (talk) 04:23, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Arcrev1 I have to admit, it's very challenging on how to navigate Wikipedia and editing using mobile phone, than a laptop.
- If you go back to Panganiban page, I reverted it back and added reference to it.
- Thanks for helping me, I appreciated it. If I have any question, I will ask you or drop by on your talk page. Other editors have been very helpful and they give me advices too. Fanblade81 (talk) 04:41, 28 June 2025 (UTC)

Dingdong Dantes filmography
[edit]You might want to present the filmography section in paragraph form instead, including only the series and films where he played lead roles, received awards, or made significant contributions to the program. Referring to it as a "selected filmography" makes it seem like you simply listed titles without a clear basis. You may refer to the Wikipedia article on Liza Soberano as an example. Thank you. - Arcrev1 (talk) 09:41, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice @Arcrev1. I did check Liza Soberano page but they mixed her awards with her filmography on a paragraph form.
- I used the same pattern on the "Selective Filmography" used from Daniel Padilla page to Dingdong Dantes page. Mr. Dantes has a long list of films and TV series.
- I only selected his movies and TV series which made an impact on his career but I'll probably think what you said and I might reconsider changing it. Fanblade81 (talk) 10:02, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Fanblade81: Thank you. I highly recommend that you consider what I said, because it would not be ideal for me to make the changes myself as it might lead to a content dispute. However, if not, I might eventually do it myself since I believe my approach would make the section more informative. The combination of the accolades and filmography in Liza Soberano's article is not a big deal and is not really the main concern. What I mean is that the term "Selected filmography" seems to be based on your own interpretation. It would be better to make it factual by explaining why those works were chosen and providing supporting details such as the movie's earnings, film ratings, or accolades received for that particular project, instead of listing them without any clear basis. - Arcrev1 (talk) 11:14, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Also, it seems that you included too many featured film titles in the main articles of the actors. It would be better to list only those that had a significant impact on their movies or series, since otherwise, the separate filmography article would lose its purpose. - Arcrev1 (talk) 11:18, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Okay. Thanks Fanblade81 (talk) 11:53, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Arcrev1 Hi, you can make changes on Dingdong Dantes filmography on his page. That's fine by me.
- I do have plans to create a paragraph form on Mr. Dantes filmography but not right now. It will take time to for me review all his films and TV series including all the data you said, his movie earning, ratings and accolades. I usually create a paragraph form in my sandbox which I edit or re-edit prior to adding it on subject's main article page. Thanks for the advice again. Fanblade81 (talk) 12:01, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- No worries. If I end up writing the paragraph, I'll still consider the feature films you listed. I'll just convert them into paragraph form and add some factual information, as I mentioned earlier. Of course, we're both busy with our own lives, so I might not be able to work on it right away. But thank you for sharing your thoughts on my suggestion. Happy editing! - Arcrev1 (talk) 12:05, 28 October 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Overseas Workers Welfare Administration. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 23:13, 11 November 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Sugar official movie posterImage001.png
[edit]
A tag has been placed on File:Sugar official movie posterImage001.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation and has no credible claim of non-free use or permission. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. thejiujiangdragon 🔥🐉 13:39, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]
Hello Fanblade81! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § Licensing.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. thejiujiangdragon 🔥🐉 13:39, 13 March 2026 (UTC)

Recent edit reversion
[edit]In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.
I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.
I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 12:31, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Sphilbrick hi, there
- I added expanded the article by adding the mission and vision and its service structures which are available on their website which I directly attributed
This article incorporates text from this source, which is in the public domain. source-attribution. - i don't know how to rewrite the vision and mission and its service structures??? you are free to rewrite them. However, by rewriting the vision and mission, I feel like I don't have the appropriate words to convey what the article stands for and I might do disservice to them.
- What is your best advice or we just leave the article as it is?? Fanblade81 (talk) 19:27, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
- You linked to the term "public domain" but I'm not convinced you understand the term. You aren't the first in this last week to think that material publicly available on the Internet means it is public domain. That's not remotely true.
- The source of the material you copied is clearly this page
- https://mowelfund.com/about-us/
- Scroll to the bottom and we will see:
- © 2024 Mowelfund All rights reserved.
- Many things are not in the public domain even without such a notice but there's almost no doubt if that footing wording exists.
- Before even thinking about rewriting it please read: Wikipedia:Avoid mission statements
- There are some rare exceptions but I doubt this is one of them. S Philbrick(Talk) 19:35, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
Improper use of minor edit box
[edit]
Hi Fanblade81! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Stars on the Floor and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Hotwiki (talk) 08:06, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Hotwiki
- Hi,
- Adding or correcting a wiki-link is part of minor changes which is marked as minor edit. Please refer to WP:ME. Thanks Fanblade81 (talk) 08:20, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- You added a link which is already linked at the top of the section, which is an issue. Those aren't minor edits if they cause an issue. Hotwiki (talk) 08:25, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Hotwiki
- Was it really an issue?
- I noticed that the article Stars on the Floor needs updating but you do not do anything about it. The second brought a new judge and P-pop dancers, not digital dancers. However, when I try to update the page, you are quick to nit-pick a single or a minor detail. Fanblade81 (talk) 08:38, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- Its not nitpicking, when you're being advised how to properly use the minor edit. Once again, you are being defensive. Hotwiki (talk) 08:45, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Hotwiki
- I asked you if it was an issue? I don't see any rules why I should not add the wiki-link?
- I have seen multiple articles with wiki-links being added on number of seasons, despite the link on top of it but I have not seen other editors or administrators flagging it.
- Anyway, appreciating the advice but I don't see it as problem. Fanblade81 (talk) 08:53, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- Its an issue because you added the same link, which is already linked in the top of the section. Other articles have links for each season, because each season that has their own Wikipedia article. Thats not the case here. Please learn when to overlink and not. Hotwiki (talk) 09:01, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Hotwiki okay. Fanblade81 (talk) 11:08, 13 May 2026 (UTC)

Not using the edit summary
[edit]
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Stars on the Floor did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
or in the visual editor:
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. When logged in to your Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Editor →
Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button.
Thanks! Hotwiki (talk) 08:07, 13 May 2026 (UTC)

Notice
[edit]
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Anna Karenina (1996 TV series), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Hotwiki (talk) 08:04, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Hotwiki Aren't you familiar with the television series? It was one of the most popular series in the 1990s and has been rebooted again by GMA Network. It is the same story and also I watched it growing up.
- I can add reliable references from GMA Network article and PEP articles. Fanblade81 (talk) 08:42, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
