File:LogoPlatanais.jpg
editGreetings! I see you've uploaded File:LogoPlatanais.jpg and claimed it as your own work. However, it appears to substantially be the club's logo, as found at the club website.[1] I'm concerned therefore that we can't use the image as it's a copyright violation. Can you shed any light on why it should qualify as your own original work? Bear in mind that drawing a duplicate of an existing logo does not make it your work. —C.Fred (talk) 17:48, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball
editHi! I've noticed your last edits on Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball article. Please wait for the official announcement (see: WP:SPORTSTRANS) of the termination of the club's sponsorship by its main sponsor, Ülker. Initial news reports may be unreliable, per WP:RSBREAKING. Thanks!--AirWolf talk 17:24, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Michael Essien, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Replaceable fair use File:NikosKarelis.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:NikosKarelis.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 12:47, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:NikosKarelis.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:NikosKarelis.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:26, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Chori Dominguez.jpg
editA tag has been placed on File:Chori Dominguez.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 12:14, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

editHello, I'm SLBedit. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Fenerbahçe S.K. (football), but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Do you have a source showing that Vítor Pereira is Fenerbahçe's new manager? So the clear idea here is that,
- The transfer window does not open until 1 July. Adding transfers before that date is not appreciated.
- Adding unconfirmed transfers, or publishing transfers based on rumours or speculative media reports is not appreciated.
I think that sums the problem nicely. 208.81.212.222 (talk) 19:03, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Roberto Firmino. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. JMHamo (talk) 19:53, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Simão Sabrosa. Thank you. SLBedit (talk) 07:08, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Gary Medel, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 11:38, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

editHello, I'm SLBedit. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Carlos Bacca, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Yevhen Konoplyanka. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:14, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at A.C. Milan, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Mattythewhite (talk) 12:27, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
I have noticed that you edited Iraklis' article and inserted Apostolos Vellios in the team's squad. Please don't make edits on transfers before they are official. They are considered official when they appear on the club's official site. I see that you have a history of adding unsourced material in WP:BLP. Additionally you have added unsourced material in the Apostolos Vellios' article, something that is against WP:BLP. You'll be reported next time. Take some time to read Wikipedia:Five pillars. Reported
editFollowing your recent disruptive editing, you were given sufficient warnings which you chose to ignore. You are reported to be blocked from editing. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Blocked
edit{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. - You have been warned repeatedly to wait until there's an official announcement before changing teams and you seem to just ignore that. Speculation isn't what matters, we'd rather be right than fast so provide sources as well and no one will care. Take the time to pay attention to what is required or you'll find yourself blocked for much longer. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 00:13, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File permission problem with File:AOK KERKYRA.png
editThanks for uploading File:AOK KERKYRA.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:34, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
