A pie for you!

Thanks so much for your edits on a couple of articles that we both have contributed to - it seems to center around pioneering African Americans. I have good and bad days and it helps to have another set of eyes (no worries, though, I generally come back after two days to edit). It's just nice to have input. Much appreciated! –CaroleHenson (talk) 00:47, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Thanks User:CaroleHenson. There's a lot to be said for Wikipedia's collaborative model. One of the reasons I don't like the idea of individual editors having to work up entries on notable subjects in draft space. Editors and opinions of others are extremely useful. Even just returning to things I've written previously I see issues. Not to mention being human and sometimes tired or distracted or frustrated or whatever. Thanks for your good works and please let me know if I can ever be of assistance. I am happy to help where I can. FloridaArmy (talk) 21:27, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Also received coverage as wife of notable figure. Would 100% survive a deletion nom. Nom would be ridiculed. Misguided rejection, one in a series for this editor.

Resubmitted. $10 billion publicly traded 60 year old company with 5,400 employees, plenty of news coverage including of its major acquisitions. FloridaArmy (talk) 01:10, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) It is not about what the company is. There have been discussions about inclusion for companies in this category but nothing has come to fruition. As such, it still comes down to WP:ORGCRIT. I will take a look and see what is available. --CNMall41 (talk) 01:22, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
Here is one from Google Books that could be used and contains history on the company.
  • WP:COMMON applies. But yes, there are an endless number of sourxes one could add. What's there is alrwady sufficient and establishes what I noted above. Manifestly notable and any deletion nom would be ridiculed. Let's stop wasting times. FloridaArmy (talk) 01:35, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
I have worked on many company pages and I don't think it would be a waste of time at AfD. Based on a cursory search right now, I am not seeing anything of note that falls into WP:ORGCRIT. I agree with WP:COMMON, but that doesn't trump the consensus about companies such as these or the guidelines in place on required references to show their notability. --CNMall41 (talk) 01:41, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
It would absolutely be a waste of time reaulting in a snow keep and a fish slapping of nom. I added an extensive company report, something specifically listed at WP:COMPANY which notes that this type of firm is almost always ntoable. Again, this isn't rocket science. Sixty year old $10 billion dollar compamy with 5,400 employees that's been involved in several major acquisitions. What more is there to discuss really? FloridaArmy (talk) 01:48, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
I was trying to assist, but your lack of civility is astonishing. I would again advise you to look at WP:ORGCRIT as company reports are exactly what we DON'T use to show notability. Good luck. --CNMall41 (talk) 02:01, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
From WP:COMPANY section on public companies discuasing this type of company pretty much always being notable and substantial coverage existing: "Examples of such sources include independent press coverage and analyst reports." This what I mean by a waste of time. Going around in circles. Playing acronym sports. Sorry I said something thst hurt your feelings. Thabks for helping. I'm going to work on other articles. Take care. Happy Easter. FloridaArmy (talk) 02:08, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
It's Wikipedia. Nothing here hurts my feelings here, especially passive aggressive responses. For your argument, you are still focusing on WP:COMPANY and not WP:ORGCRIT. For Wikipedia, WP:CIR so understanding the notability guidelines for companies takes more than just pulling a few sentences from the guideline to justify an article. You can check this current discussion which is synonymous with others in the past. As I said, I have worked on many company pages and been involved in many deletion discussions. Publicly traded companies, regardless of size, have been deleted at AfD due to lacking WP:CORPDEPTH. As of now, at least three editors have agreed this doesn't pass but maybe can find someone who disagrees. --CNMall41 (talk) 02:52, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

I did, though, find a number of newspaper articles on newspaper.com that I would be happy to save as clips. Here are a few: 1, 2 (personal life), 3 (short bit), an obit... there are more articles about her personal and work life, this is just a sampling. These are good to go, as they are saved as clips.
