Bikina Atoll released two albums on the Bella Union label that has a few notable artists (Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird) on it, see http://www.bellaunion.com/artists.php. This satisfies criterion 5 of 'Criteria for musicians and ensembles', doesn't it? I'm not immediately publishing anything anyway. Hello there! Welcome to wikipedia and I thoroughly enjoy the reference though I had to give it a google to see what you were actually on about. I hadn't thought about that story in years. Obviously your joy of goats makes it more memorable to you! I don't think it's entirely necessary to change your username but if it interests you User:Billy Goat Gruff is available and a fine name at that! Alternately you could somehow change your on screen name to not include troll (e.g. Fol de rol T) but I'm unsure where you do this. It's in the preferences somewhere i think.

On to Bikini Atoll (band): It looks like they'll pass the Notability requirements. A quick google gives me these three album reviews which should be sufficient for notability morotoria review review in The Independent Liar's Exit review. You'll need to cite the information from the articles —

"Last" and "First" are for author names. "Date" and "accessdate" should use this style = 2008-11-27. Or if that's a pain any other clear style is fine.

Fair dos. I've come across that Gaiman article before actually when judging the sandman comics' relevance to some other article. Indeed my works do spread far and wide. Be sure to make use of watching pages so you can see where things are headed. Don't get bogged down with vandals though: you know, making Didier Drogba just read 'drogba ya cheat gazza la' and the like. Any whos, we still need to meet up, we'll sort something out soon. Lofepramine#Dosage

You're absolutely right mate. It's generally agreed that giving dosage advice in articles is a terrible idea as it may mean people self-medicate. I have to say that's a pretty sound rule to go by (see here) as I can imagine a hundred doofuses (doofii?) clicking on Wikipedia and going "oh. 125mg? (gulp) hmmm...Is my head supposed to feel so pulsate-y?". I'll take the info out and contact Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine,; the editors there really seem to know their stuff. If you ever come across stuff like this (especially when there is no medical reference and it appears like personal experience) them remove it and say why you did it on the talk page. Don't be afraid to just wholesale delete parts of articles that appear to be wrong and don't have an adequate reference. Thousands of edits are made every day and not all of them are good!

PS: I completely rewrote Alim Qasimov and Fleet Foxes if you want a quick read. I'm trying to get them on the Did you know... column on the front page at the moment. Take is easy man. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 13:29, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Right, just going to quickly make a couple of changes then you can move it to Bikini Atoll (band). A couple of pointers: references go after the punctuation mark if at the end of the sentence; Italicise newspapers/magazines like The Independent; for dates just put 20 January (no "th"/"st"/"rd" etc). Incidentally, if you click on the "my preferences" link at the top of the page, go to the "Gadgets" tab, enable Twinkle under Editing gadgets, save, and bypass your browser cache, you'll get a load of useful extra tags along the top of the page. One of them is labelled "xfd", and you can use this to automate AfD nominations. Quoting copyrighted poems wholesale is definitely a copyvio (Wikipedia:Do not include the full text of lengthy primary sources, which I found from WP:POETRY, who might be able to advise further) and swearing comes under WP:NOTCENSORED. I've refactored this in attempt to make it as neutral as possible in a global sense; we are not qualified to judge whether her conviction is intrinsically correct or not. Being convicted of murder only makes you a "convicted murderer" within the scope of the system within which that conviction occurs, and we should not assume that the conviction is either correct or incorrect, given the evidential doubt expressed in her article. Yes, I edit on gay history in general and pederasty in particular. You expect me to consent to suppression of such information, all the more when it is pushed by people who see queer studies as "an agenda?" What is your agenda? Antiquity? Greek studies? Is editing on that topic "pushing an agenda"? How would you like to have people accuse you of being an agenda-driven editor when you are editing on the topic of your choosing? I am sorry my friend but YOU are in the wrong here, you and all who find fault with any aspect of documenting homosexual history. It is not the editor who includes information on homosexuality who is to be questioned, but the one who labors mightily to suppress it, trying tactic after tactic in the hope that something, anything, will work.

As I said, three editors have posted the material in the article, and a fourth has supported its validity. Against that have been thrown fallacious, insidious and ad nauseam repetitive arguments. Flickr

It's a bit of a mix as photos range from completely restricted to completely freely licensed. I use the advance search. At the bottom, check all the creative commons boxes (for wikipedia images must not be restricted for commercial use, and must be a share-alike, or adaptable, work). See the Bobby Robson picture. On the right hand column in additional information it says "some rights reserved". Hover over the grey circles and they say "Attribution" and "share-a-like". These are the ok ones. If you find a "$" with a cross in that section, that's not ok. Generally, that's about it. Just give me a holla and a link if you're unsure. Take care man! Yeeeep, that is usually the case! People tend to do non-commercial because (a) they don't want others making money off their work for nothing and (b) many commercial operations notoriously forget about the attribution part, sassing them more. Can't entirely blame them to be honest: many flickr posters are professional photographers, so when one photo is released for free it becomes the main photo in circulation, thus impinging on further sales.

This is one case where Wikipedia undoubtedly favours amateurism. Whereas the text fully depends upon the linked and cited sources (thus supporting the core of academia/journalism etc) images have no such similar link. Put bluntly, you or I would uploaded our own Robles pic because we have nothing to lose from doing so. A professional, and most certainly better, photographer would see no benefit from releasing a photo. It is very much a charity case, hence why you end up with amateur shite like John Arne Riise or my slightly blurry Bolty race photos. Elise Tan Roberts displays fine for me, using both Firefox 3.5 and Internet Explorer 7. I suggest trying a different browser to see if the problem is limited to one browser for you. Hey, can you do me a favor and make sure people stop editting in the Screamo genre under Escape The Fate's genre? There's a huge difference between screaming and screamo and I hate that people are being ignorant enough as to put ETF under the Screamo genre. Invitation to the African Destubathon

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc).
