Hi. Can someone help me please? How do I go about to make a "Contents" section in my User page?
Freddie2016 (talk) 07:01, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
How do I get my Userboxes below each other, and my Wikipedia:Babel above it? And how do I get them all on the right side of my page?
Freddie2016 (talk) 07:02, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hey! I've made a few changes to your userpage. I hope these are what you were after. Feel free to revert my edit otherwise. I've additionally removed the rollback and reviewer topicons, as you do not have these privileges and it's somewhat misleading. TheDragonFire (talk) 07:48, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you. I think I copied those from someone elses page, and I thought it was something to allow other people to review and change my User page. Thank you for the help! Freddie2016 (talk) 08:52, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
- Good day. I am really struggling with the userboxes. I want to get the boxes on the right side. But I am struggling to get it fixed there. Freddie2016 (talk) 09:12, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi. I need some help again.
I have been working on the page, 2017 in rugby union. I want to put the flag of each country in front of that country's name. How do I do that? Can you help User:TheDragonFire? Maybe User:Dale Arnett and User:LittleWink can also help with this? Freddie2016 (talk) 09:24, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
- If you want to put flags next to a country name, the template will vary based on the context.
- For a country, if you want a wikilinked country name with it, surround the ISO, IOC, or FIFA code with double curly brackets/braces. For example, {{ZAF}} (or RSA) will produce South Africa.
- EXCEPTION: In the case of Ireland, which has one national rugby union for the entire island, use the "flagcountry" template instead if you want to refer to the whole island. Also, the proper 3-letter code to use is IRE, not IRL (the Republic) or NIR (the North). {{flagcountry|IRE|rugby union}} produces Ireland.
- If you just want the flag without a wikilinked country name, use "flagicon". For example, {{flagicon|ENG}} produces the English flag: .
- For a national team, there's an entire series of templates for men's, women's, sevens, and age-grade teams, each producing a wikilinked name that directs to the page on that team.
- Men's senior teams: {{ru|IRE}} produces Ireland.
- Men's "A" national teams: {{ruA|ARG}} produces Argentina XV. In this case, the actual team name will be displayed.
- Women's senior teams: {{ruw|AUS}} produces Australia.
- Men's sevens teams: {{ru7|FJI}} produces Fiji (FIJ also works here).
- Women's sevens teams: {{ru7w|NZL}} produces New Zealand.
- Men's under-20 national teams: {{ruu|20|FRA}} produces France.
- For a country, if you want a wikilinked country name with it, surround the ISO, IOC, or FIFA code with double curly brackets/braces. For example, {{ZAF}} (or RSA) will produce South Africa.
- With that said, I try to minimize the use of flags—enough of them and you have a VERY long page load time. — Dale Arnett (talk) 10:01, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
- Please ensure that any use of flags complies with MOS:FLAG. TheDragonFire (talk) 06:30, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Retief Burger
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
Why was I blocked?
editFreddie2016 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Hi. I understand that I was blocked. I would like to know why this is. To my knowledge, I have never done anything wrong when editing pages.
Decline reason:
Your underlying IP is blocked as it is an open proxy. You will not be able to edit as long as you are using that specific IP.Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:10, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I see no block on this account, now or in the past. To help you, please provide the exact message that appears when you attempt to edit. 331dot (talk) 16:21, 14 May 2019 (UTC)

- Can you help me? I am still nowhere closer to know why I am blocked. Freddie2016 (talk) 13:23, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
Even if blocked, you will usually still be able to edit your user talk page and email other editors and administrators." Freddie2016 (talk) 08:12, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
- Are you purposefully using a VPN/proxy? If so, you will need to disable it to edit.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:10, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

- Is there nobody who wants to help me? I am still blocked, and I do not know how to fix it. Freddie2016 (talk) 13:21, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
- If you are not knowingly using a VPN or proxy, you will probably need to contact your ISP or whomever is providing your internet access for assistance. There isn't much more we can do for you on this end. Is your physical location a public place(I don't need to know specifically) or are you using public WiFi? 331dot (talk) 13:37, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, I am using public WiFi Freddie2016 (talk) 07:36, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

Pages with DEFAULTSORT conflicts
editHello there. One or more of your pages have DEFAULTSORT conflicts: (search)
Please either
- <nowiki> DEFAULTSORTs (if your page is a draft consisting of multiple subjects); or
- remove redundant DEFAULTSORTs (if your page is a draft with multiple DEFAULTSORTs); or
- remove all DEFAULTSORTs (otherwise)
in the affected pages. Thank you. – Ase1estet@lkc0ntribs 02:53, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- I don't really understand. Could you explain more? I though the Sandbox is part of my own personal page, which I can use if I want to practice making a page. That is what I am doing there. Maybe I am wrong in this understanding? Freddie2016 (talk) 10:51, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- You are not wrong about your sandbox page, but the problem is that DEFAULTSORT was not made to be included in a page multiple times. Usually, this is not a problem for mainspace articles as they only cover one subject each, but when you created a page that is for multiple subjects, like your sandbox, this becomes a problem. Of course, there is nothing wrong with including multiple subjects in your sandbox, but maybe it is better to fix those errors about overriding sort keys. It doesn't take much to fix it, just surround DEFAULTSORT with
<nowiki>
, like this:<nowiki>{{DEFAULTSORT}}</nowiki>
and remove<nowiki>
when the content goes to mainspace. – Ase1estet@lkc0ntribs 11:51, 5 August 2019 (UTC)- Okay. I just want to make sure if I understand correctly. Can I leave my Sandbox page as it is, but when I want to make a mainspace page, I have to surround it the DEFAULTSORT? Freddie2016 (talk) 09:40, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
