Speedy deletion nomination of LSU Department of Finance

• WP:Notability requires showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Although precedent is not binding, the result of previous deletion discussions, documented at WP:OUTCOMES#Education, has been that "Departments or degree programs within a university, college, or school are generally not considered notable unless they have made significant contributions to their field ... or produced a number of notable graduates."
