Welcome back GB fan. Glad to have you back in the fold. — Ched (talk) 14:15, 20 October 2019 (UTC)
Ashley Maynard Brewer
Please undo your delation request for Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer. The fixture you are referring to was a full professional appearance in the EFL Trophy and as such stands as a professional match played in. He therefore is suitable to have a Wikipedia page. Please do not do this again. Many thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by SKennedy157 (talk • contribs) 14:11, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
- SKennedy157, as this was deleted through the proposed deletion process and you have contested that deletion, I have restored it. If someone feels the article should be deleted they will need to nominate it using the WP:AFD process. ~ GB fan 14:44, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
Three Guests Deletion
Hi,
Recently you deleted our wikipedia page title "Three Guests" and we just wanted to reach out to see if we can get it back up and fix any issues it might have!
Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.121.65.123 (talk) 22:59, 22 November 2019 (UTC)

Deletion log
You/someone deleted it (Urban Naxals and Me Too Urban Naxal) anyway, but not Urban Naxals: The Making of Buddha in a Traffic Jam is there a hidden agenda? Italawar (talk) 15:34, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
- I didn't delete either of those. Urban_Naxals: The Making of Buddha in a Traffic Jam is a redirect to content that was merged to another article. The redirect needs to remain as it provides attribution for the merged content. You will need to talk to the admin(s) that deleted the other two. I have no agenda, I had never heard of any of this until I saw your initial speedy deletion request on Urban_Naxals: The Making of Buddha in a Traffic Jam. ~ GB fan 15:38, 23 December 2019 (UTC)

Lead nitrate
I don't understand why the speedy deletion tag was removed. All the current content was previously deleted when I transferred a table of solubility values from the article page to this page. I have now removed that table and effectively replaced it by a graphic, which I created, based on the numerical data in the table, on the article page. This data page now contains no useful data as shown by the blank or "?" values for the properties. Therefore there is neither any page content to discuss nor any justification for retaining this page. Petergans (talk) 11:41, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- Petergans, Speedy deletion only applies if one of the criterion listed on that page unambiguously applies. I do not see that any of them apply. You indicate that you believe WP:G7 would apply but it does not. You did not create the page nor is there only one significant contributor. If you think any of the other listed criteria apply, please indicate which ones apply. ~ GB fan 11:49, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- This is an absurd situation. I understand that how a strict application of the rules applies. However, the present content had been removed from the article a long time ago, without raising any query. Why should it be re-instated?
- The serious issue concerns the article content rather than its form. I am a retired University lecturer in chemistry and I cannot see any significant content in the current text. It's obvious that almost all entries in the table are in fact blank. I hope that you will see the sense of this and proceed with speedy deletion. Petergans (talk) 18:03, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- Petergans, I will not speedy delete the page. Looking at the history, you could use WP:PROD. If no one objects for 7 days it will be deleted. ~ GB fan 18:08, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
Zack Hample
Sorry to bug you, but you were involved a few months ago when Zvikorn was making disruptive edits to the Zack Hample article. The user was blocked for a time for making edits without attempting to find a consensus. The user is doing it again after I've advised to find consensus. I appreciate if you can help. Thanks! - Nemov (talk) 14:11, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
- Read the talk page, this user is a bit Pushy tbh and he is the only one that agrees the need for this sentence. I'm the one willing to compromise, leaving the sentence and just adding that Hample denys the source is true. Idan (talk) 14:14, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
Hongni Wu, Günther Groissböck
I noticed that you deleted the articles Hongni Wu, Günther Groissböck because they were created by User:Mishae, an indefinitely banned user. Given that that ban was issued about 3 years ago, those articles have presumably been edited by others as well. The subjects seem well notable. Could you either restore them in article space or userfy or draftify them, although I don't know how their history can be preserved that way. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 02:47, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
- Michael Bednarek, the two articles were created by Biografer in May 2019. They admitted] they are a sockpuppet of Mishae. Both articles have some edits by other editors but they are not significant edits. I will restore them to the Draft space and then after you review them, you can take responsibility for them and move them back into the article space. Let me know if that is what you want to do. ~ GB fan 11:25, 14 January 2020 (UTC)

Two women named Carolina Bianchi
Carolina Bianchi is a living sportswoman, with links such as 2013 Italian Athletics Championships. Carolina Bianchi (soprano) is a good redirect to Carolina Crespi. What do you suggest? Going over all the Carolina Bianchi and change them to a dab? ... and which? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 00:09, 25 January 2020 (UTC)

- Gerda, I've changed the links on all the athletic articles to Carolina Bianchi (athlete). There are now no "wrong" links to Carolina Bianchi [1] If an article is ever created about the athlete, we can always sort this out via a hatnote. Voceditenore (talk) 08:04, 25 January 2020 (UTC)

I don't know how the standards are in boxing (or how the GNG is read there), but this subject actually seems well-sourced enough to go to mainspace, as far as I'm concerned--certainly compared to a bunch of other stuff we let through... Drmies (talk) 15:34, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

Already deleted page declined
Dear GB, the deletion request was accepted two days ago, but I was looking for a way to remove definitely the picture and the result from the search and by mistake I reopened it. Would it be possible to delete it again? — Preceding unsigned comment added by LarissaAineli (talk • contribs) 20:20, 13 February 2020 (UTC) Also, I saw that others editors contributed to the page I created, but they only modified the layers, structure of the page, and modified few links, while I wrote the main article by myself and collected all the references included. Declining the CSD
Hello GB fan. First, I wanted to say thank you for catching my CSD nomination at IVLIUS CAESAR. I admit that I did not check the redirect's history beforehand to see whether it had been nominated before, because I was under the assumption that it wasn't nominated due to its presence at RfD. Once I noticed that the author of the redirect requested deletion, I nominated the page for CSD under G7. I understand why it was declined - a previous CSD tag had been removed in good faith. Out of curiosity, wouldn't a self-requested deletion override a previous deleted CSD tag? Utopes (talk / cont) 01:53, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
- The previous CSD that was declined was also G7. Also G7 is not a right to have something deleted, if someone does not agree it can be retained. ~ GB fan 02:15, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
Tell me, I am fascinated to know why you have restored an erroneous redirect to the wrong page, with a quickly typed summary telling me to direct to the right page? Had you bothered to do it yourself, you would eventually, one hopes, come across The Restoration. However, that is not the same thing at all. So as you clearly know the right page please redirect yourself and if you can’t find it because it doesn’t exist write a page yourself. Giano (talk) 20:26, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
- Giano, it seemed to me from your speedy deletion request that you thought there was an article that covers what you say is the subject. I don't know anything about the subject, so I can't find an article to redirect it to, write an article or make a good case for deletion at WP:RFD. You seem to understand what it is supposed to be about since. If there isn't a valid article to redirect it to then the next step is WP:RFD. ~ GB fan 21:15, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
- Just a suggestion, but if you don't know anything about a subject, the best alternatives would be to either leave things alone for someone who has the knowledge to try to address, or to take a little time to research. In this case, the biggest issue with that redirect is that the Carolean era is more commonly linked to a different era in Sweden than it is to the Caroline era of England. The redirect isn't appropriate as it is - in fact, it's going to the wrong target - but perhaps someone motivated might make a dab page because there are some sources that use the same term to mean "Caroline era" of England. Risker (talk) 21:36, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
- I don't know who you are talking to. All I did was decline an invalid speedy deletion request and advise to either nominate for deletion using WP:RFD or find an article to redirect it to. Giano's response was to blank it and redirect it here. I was trying to leave it alone other that to stop the blanking, bad redirection, and invalid speedy deletion request. ~ GB fan 21:41, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
- What I can't understand is why the page wasn't deleted as {{Db-error}} – "G6, Deleting pages unambiguously created in error". Surely it's easier to fix the invalid request than edit-war to restore an erroneous redirect? --RexxS (talk) 22:01, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
- It wasn't how it was nominated and I don't really do G6s. So it is not something would think of. ~ GB fan 22:42, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

Deletion nomination
Hello! I nominated this draft for deletion after the user spammed Commons and Wikidata. I believe that the subject is clearly not notable for enwiki too, therefore I think that there is no point to keep the draft. Please take another look. Thanks in advance! Bencemac (talk) 08:11, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Not notable is never a speedy deletion criterion. Notability is not even an argument usually accepted at WP:MFD for a Draft page. If by spam you mean advertising, then that would be eligible under WP:G11. There is more leeway given to draft pages on advertising than articles but I don't think it is enough to delete under that criterion. I do not see any valid WP:CSD criterion to delete this draft. ~ GB fan 09:23, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Your deletion of a page on NZ Filmmaker Simon Ogston
Simon Ogston deletion. Dear sir/madam, I am a little shocked at the deletion of a page I helped compile. Simon Ogston is a New Zealand filmmaker who was acclaimed at the NZ international Film Festival of 2017. As I no longer have the researched material which you deleted on hand, and the person I sent it to added it directly to the page, could you kindly reinstate the page and I will take over the editing from here. I can easily add a published quote or quotes from a reputable critic fo the time to show how Simon is "important". Alternatively you might send me the deleted material directly, which I spent some time researching on behalf of another user, who requested confirmation of titles. I provided correct titles of Mr Ogston's films and dates. If you can kindly return this information to me I will follow it up. In good faith. Thank you. Hello. You may not have noticed Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard#Move_help_needed which is related to that CSD request. The redirect was only created by my attempting to reverse a move in error. The talk page was only created to dispute that move. After the move was reversed, the discussion was moot and there is no need for a talk page from a redirect that has no real function. It should be deleted. Thank you. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 03:46, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
- The discussion is moot now that the page has been returned to the original title. You tagged it for WP:G8 speedy deletion, stating that it was a talk page of a non-existant page. The criterion does not apply as the page does exist. ~ GB fan 10:49, 31 March 2020 (UTC)

Deletion of the redirect page for centipoise
I noticed you had submitted a request for deletion of Centipoise(unit). As far as I recall, I had created the redirect page since I noticed a few wiki pages trying to link to it. Would you suggest editing each of these pages to link to Poise (unit) instead? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kishore178 (talk • contribs) 06:45, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
- Kishore178, When I looked, there was only one page that linked to Centipoise(unit), Volume viscosity. The problems with this redirect is the lack of the space between centipoise and (unit) and the disambiguation (unit) itself. There already is a redirect, Centipoise, that does not use the disambiguator. It is not necessary to disambiguate centipose as there is only one centipoise. ~ GB fan 09:15, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Turin bid for the 2006 Winter Olympics
Hi GB fan,
I saw that you reverted the edit I made to the Turin bid for the 2006 Winter Olympics article. I must admit I applied the wrong CSD tag to the article. Having said that, I don't believe the article is relevant, especially when we already have this article. Any "relevant" content from the Turin bid article can be added to the latter article. Versace1608 Wanna Talk? 13:28, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Versace1608, Looking at that article, if we deleted Turin bid for the 2006 Winter Olympics the only city that put in a bid for the 2006 Winter Olympics would be the city that hosted the Olympics. Would you suggest deleting the articles on the other cities bids? I do not see any WP:CSD criterion that would apply to that article. If you feel it should be deleted then you probebly should use WP:AFD. ~ GB fan 13:37, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- I am not suggesting deleting articles about other bids. If inherent notability is applicable to the Turin bid article (and other Olympic-related articles), than I'm fine with its inclusion. However, if this isn't the case, the Turin bid article should be deleted because there's simply not enough sources to justify a separate article. Versace1608 Wanna Talk? 13:49, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

Christopher Fayers PROD
Hi there. As far as I know, PROD cannot be simply removed without explanation or improvements to the article. Which is exactly what happened. Does this rule about re-adding prod still apply? --BlameRuiner (talk) 09:25, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
- BlameRuiner, The explanation for how to contest a PROD is at WP:DEPROD. This section of the policy says:
You are strongly encouraged, but not required, to also: Explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion, either in the edit summary or on the talk page.
The section also says:If anyone, including the creator, removes a proposed deletion tag from a page, do not replace it, even if the tag was apparently removed in bad faith.
A PROD tag removed without explanation or even in bad faith can not be restored. There are a couple of exceptions but I do not see that they apply to this removal. ~ GB fan 10:40, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
MERJ Exchange Limited
I only wanted to make you notice that Merj has released two security tokens:
- MERJ-S (for the Merj equity itself) and it is still being traded at the same price of 2.42$ since at least August 2019. So no trade at first sight.
Please tell me if I'm wrong.
As you can see here: https://merj.exchange/exchange/market/listings/
- MVST-S (for Minervest Limited)
As you can see on the blockchain explorer Etherscan, there is no trade at all for this one: https://etherscan.io/token/0x67633e28989E164E17A8BcB61387C0506b205a60
It is being said MERJ-S is proprietary not like an Ethereum ERC-20 token: there is a big lack of transparency on this one. Have they reached any soft cap?
You don't see it is a promotional article created by the Merj/Trop-X company three years ago?
Is there some notability here?
I understand you are editing some of the promotional tone of this article, and I only wanted to show you that most of this article is uniquely promotional by itself. It has more its place on MarketsWiki than on Wikipedia till there is sufficient notability IMHO. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HLFH (talk • contribs) 13:50, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
- I have never said that there is no promotional info in the article. I have said that the article isn't bad enough for speedy deletion under WP:G11 and that editing can take care of the promotional content. I have also said that all of those inline advert tags you placed do not belong. Having "MERJ EXCHANGE" in the article is not promotional language. Your assertion in the original speedy deletion and in the AFD that it complies with A1 and A3 is patently false. A3 says there is no content whatsoever. Obviously there is content, otherwise you couldn't say it is promotional content. A1 says that from the context of the article you can't tell what the article is about. Again obviously you know what the article is about. So neither of those could possibly apply to this article. I cleaned up the worst of the promotional content but there still is some. I am not going to spend any more time on it because I do not believe it will survive the AFD. ~ GB fan 16:24, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Dana Rettke
Hello GB fan. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Dana Rettke, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: notability questionable but some claims of significance and GNews has snippets of coverage in potential RS (that I cannot access from the EU though). - @GB fan:, Good evening ,according to Wikipedia:Conflict of interest : then self promotion or paid --Eyatu Ben (talk) 12:24, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- Eyatu Ben, That is not a policy. It is a behavioral guideline. The second paragraph of that guideline says
COI editing is strongly discouraged on Wikipedia.
COI editing is discouraged by guideline not banned by policy. That guideline does not say that an autobiography is eligible for speedy deletion. I will ask both the questions again. What policy says that you can not create an article about yourself? Where in any policy does it say that an autobiography is eligible for speedy deletion? ~ GB fan 12:35, 14 April 2020 (UTC)- Wikipedia:Autobiography: Avoid writing or editing an article about yourself (or paying someone else to do so), other than to correct unambiguous errors of fact. Writing an autobiography on Wikipedia is an example of conflict of interest editing and is strongly discouraged --Eyatu Ben (talk) 12:44, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

- Eyatu Ben, That is a content guideline not a policy. Again it is stongly discouraged not prohibited. It also does not say it is a valid reason to speedy delete a page. You still have not shown a policy that says an autobiography is not allowed or that it can be speedy deleted. ~ GB fan 12:57, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Hi, I've noticed that you've reverted my CSD request. May I know what are the deletion procedures for a draft that's already in mainspace? Thanks. WikiAviator (talk) 13:45, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
- WikiAviator, The easiest option is to do nothing. After it sits unedited for 6 months (which at this point doesn't look like it will happen) it becomes eligible for WP:G13. You can nominate it using WP:MFD, which will probably end in deletion since it has been rejected 8 times. ~ GB fan 14:27, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
- OK. Thanks for your advice. WikiAviator (talk) 14:33, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Draft:Pyaar Mohabbat Happy Lucky blanking
Hi! Just wanted to check if you are sure it was the author who blanked Draft:Pyaar Mohabbat Happy Lucky? I checked the page earlier and the author was not the same person blanking it. I even left them a message [3]. I assume they blanked it again afterwards or tagged it with G7? The draft was in review queue before and I don't think there was anything obviously wrong with it. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 11:51, 30 April 2020 (UTC)

Kin Games page deletion November 2019
Hello GB fan,
I was wondering if you could tell me why this page was deleted? And how we may be able to get it reinstated.
Also, if possible, would I be able to get the contents of this page? If the page does not return, it has the only documented history of our conference dating back to 2000, and we do not want to lose that information.
Much appreciated, -Ryan — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rojs10 (talk • contribs) 16:52, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
- I have restored it per the PROD policy and sent it directly to AFD as it does not belong in Wikipedia. ~ GB fan 14:05, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
- Why does this not belong in Wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rojs10 (talk • contribs) 04:55, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not a primary source for information. It is a tertiary source. Everything in Wikipedia requires significant coverage in multiple reliable sources that are independent of the subject of the article. You stated that this page is the only documented history of the conference. That would mean Wikipedia is the secondary source for the information. That is not the purpose of Wikipedia. ~ GB fan 10:02, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

I got suspicions that we might be about to see trouble on the article for AGT Season 3 again. Thanks, B — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smarties0525 (talk • contribs) 08:39, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- Smarties0525, the only reason I removed the PROD is that it is a one and done procedure. What I mean by that is once an article has had a PROD it can never have another PROD. This article had a PROD added in this edit. It was then removed in this edit. This addition and removal of the PROD means that by rule, PROD can never be used again. That means that your addition of the PROD was contrary to the Proposed Deletion Policy. My removal of you PROD was not an editorial decision on my part, it was just applying the policy as written. The policy says that at this point the next step toward deletion must be Articles for Deletion. The "Nominating article(s) for deletion" section of the policy gives the directions that you will need to follow to nominate it for deletion. If you need help let me know. ~ GB fan 09:17, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
It's a bit academic, as the article is now at AfD, but per WP:BLPPROD, the BLPPROD process is independent of the PROD process, and a BLPPROD tag can only be removed after adding a source. I don't think it was correct to remove the tag from Ercan Gündoğan. Russ Woodroofe (talk) 09:59, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
- Russ Woodroofe, A valid BLPPROD can only be removed after adding a reliable source that confirms some fact in the article. If there is any source (reliable or not) that confirms any fact on the article then BLPPROD can not be used. I removed it because there were previous sources on the article and they are all in the history.
You removed some of the sources that were on the article. That makes it ineligible for BLPPROD. ~ GB fan 10:49, 30 May 2020 (UTC)- Ok, I see your thought process. I do still think that if there was something you thought was a reliable source, then you should've re-added it to the article when removing BLPPROD.
(Your edit summary was in this case misleading, however.)I've never edited the article, and would not desource it. Looking back, I can see some links that you might consider tenuously consider as sources in the history, though no reliable sources, and nothing that suggests vandalism. OTOH, I also see the note in the policy that if "there is any doubt to the applicability of this procedure to the article, then it is preferable to use another deletion process." Russ Woodroofe (talk) 11:49, 30 May 2020 (UTC)- Russ Woodroofe, I don't know why I said you removed sources, you didn't and I have struck that from my initial comment. I do not understand how my edit summary,
not eligible for BLPPROD, there was a source previously on the article
, is misleading. Since any source, reliable or not, on the article makes it ineligible for BLPPROD, any source, reliable or not, in the history makes it ineligible for BLPPROD. There are sources in the history so it is ineligible for BLPPROD. That is what my edit summary said. I didn't go back and look at every source that had ever been in the article to see if any of them were reliable as it doesn't make any difference to the eligibility of BLPPROD. I found one that confirmed a fact in the article at the time it was on the article and that is all I needed to determine that it was ineligible for BLPPROD. ~ GB fan 12:10, 30 May 2020 (UTC)- I misread your summary as there being a PROD already on the article, rather than a source. Struck that myself. Thanks for talking through! Russ Woodroofe (talk) 12:26, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
- Russ Woodroofe, I don't know why I said you removed sources, you didn't and I have struck that from my initial comment. I do not understand how my edit summary,
- Ok, I see your thought process. I do still think that if there was something you thought was a reliable source, then you should've re-added it to the article when removing BLPPROD.

Deletion nomination
Dear GB fan, please review your decision. I nominated the draft for deletion per the AfD and the fact that the article was already deleted four times. Please also note that the user “is blocked for WP:PROMOTIONAL activities” (see the sockpuppet investigation), so the “nothing Spam about this draft” is not true, (s)he is doing that cross-wiki. I arrived here after I removed the spam from Wikidata. Please review and fulfil my deletion request! Thanks, Bencemac (talk) 14:47, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
- The draft is not promotional language so it doesn't fall under WP:G11. Being deleted at AFD is not a valid reason to delete a page in Draft space. I will not speedy delete the page. If you feel it must be deleted, you can nominate the draft at WP:MFD and then any new Drafts can be speedy deleted as a WP:G4. ~ GB fan 15:02, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

Gosford AFC
Hi there, I am The Tuna Apple, and I am an Aussie rules football enthusiast. I was intending on creating a page for the Gosford Australian Football Club, a local Aussie rules football club in Gosford, NSW, Australia, if I can find enough information. However, I saw that a previous page by the same name was deleted by you on November 19th 2018 due to that page being created by a banned or blocked user violating a block or a ban, and the information that I have found to help create the page for the Gosford Australian Football Club might be somewhat similar to that of the previous page, in which it said to please contact the user who deleted the page before proceeding. The warning said to contact you. Is there anything that I should do before proceeding to make the page? Cheers. (The Tuna Apple (talk) 08:14, 7 June 2020 (UTC))
- You don't have to do anything, That is a standard warning that is on all deletions. For other types of deletions it means more than it does for this deletion. ~ GB fan 10:12, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
Color Me a Rainbow reinstatement?
This is the first time contacting you. I obviously don't know what I'm doing. I am the producer and copyright holder for Color Me a Rainbow. I just discovered that it has been removed from Wikipedia for this reason: 14:02, 14 April 2020 GB fan talk contribs deleted page Color Me a Rainbow (Expired PROD, concern was: yet another extremely obscure, non-notable TV series)
Could you please tell me how I can get it reinstated? It was not only a TV series that ran for 3 years on ACTS, it was also distributed on VHS to churches. I am currently preparing it to be put on YouTube.
I will be so grateful. YamOaOS — Preceding unsigned comment added by YamOaOS (talk • contribs) 16:24, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

Sunday - 6/7/2020
It's quite obvious that I don't yet understand the process of Wikipedia. I tried to post this elsewhere...but... Thank you for your patience! Of course I would love to have Color Me a Rainbow remain on Wikipedia. It was posted several years ago by a "fan" of the show. I contacted you when I saw it was offline. I edited it because there were errors I was trying to correct. It has been so long that I don't have any news stories to submit. It ran and reran for 3 years on ACTS and was used in many churches. As the writer/producer/puppeteer, I am very biased. I hold the copyrights & trademark for the series. I don't know if comments from little viewers who are all grown up would help. I am in contact with a few. I hope my soon post on social media will bring others forth. Thank you, again, for your help. Review of deletion of Markus U. Diethelm page (UBS-related)
Dear GB fan,
I am a COI-editor from UBS and I have noticed that the article on Markus U. Diethelm has been deleted due to possible COI-origin.
I can't tell 100% if the page was created by someone connected to UBS but if so - it has been done without the knowledge of the UBS-related Wikipedia editors (myself included). All of us have an explicit COI statement on our user pages and our policy is to follow the Wikipedia Community rules. Our goal is solely to make sure the facts about the company and related persons are correct. We refrain from making any edits ourselves unless they are absolutely minor, otherwise, we place edit requests similar to this one on article's talk page.
I kindly ask you to review your decision of deleting the page and offer my full support in bringing the article to the Wikipedia standards.
For reference - there is a German version of Markus Diethelm article.

Van Epperson
Hi GB fan,
I'm writing to ask you to consider reinstating Van Epperson's page. Van is a veteran character actor with more than 100 movie and television credits to his name over a 30-year career. He's appeared in such classics as the Green Mile, Star Trek, Deadwood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Shameless, Parks and Recreation, and countless others. Check out his IMDB page for a complete list- https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0258371/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1. Thanks very much for your consideration!

Why did you delete the proposal to delete on the pages. Do you mind explaining that, since reason for adding it is valid. --Buraomagnificent (talk) 12:55, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
- Buraomagnificent, As I stated in my edit summaries when I removed them, Once a PROD has been removed it can not be restored. The last sentence of the second paragraph of the policy says;
"Any editor (including the article's creator or the file's uploader) may object to the deletion by simply removing the tag; this action permanently cancels the proposed deletion via PROD."
PRODs were removed from both articles and you readded them. You can not do that. If you feel they should be deleted you will need to nominate using WP:AFD. ~ GB fan 13:10, 16 June 2020 (UTC)- I see. Thanks for explaining it. --Buraomagnificent (talk) 13:37, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

Removal of BLPPROD of Luca Cazal
Hi, I am somewhat surprised about you removing the BLPPROD Template of Luca Cazal - decisive is the actual, current version of the article, it is completely unsourced. Honestly, it should be taken to CSD. CommanderWaterford (talk) 09:17, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- CommanderWaterford, The very first sentence of the WP:BLPPROD policy explains why I removed the tag from the article;
Unsourced biographies of living people (BLPs) are eligible for a special proposed deletion process, BLPPROD. To be eligible for a BLPPROD tag, the entry must be a biography of a living person and contain no sources in any form (as references, external links, etc., reliable or otherwise) supporting any statements made about the person in the biography.
The very first version of the article contains 8 external links. I opened one of them and I could verify at least one piece of information in the article from that external link. Therefore it is ineligible for BLPPROD. It has never been completely unsourced. ~ GB fan 09:23, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
Talk redirects of ship's articles
Hello. Why not delete talk redirections? Continue in castilian; no entiendo por qué usted revirtió mis cambios anteayer. Las redirecciones a las páginas de discusión no sirven para nada. --Mark Gasoline (talk) 10:59, 20 June 2020 (UTC)
- You added speedy deletion tags. Speedy deletion is limited to the criterion listed in the policy. Just the fact that it is a redirect from one talk page to another is not a one of the speedy deletion criterion. If you believe they should be deleted you can nominate them using the Redirects for Discussion process. I can not respond to what you said after your initial question in English, I do not know what it says. ~ GB fan 11:58, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

Manjappada Kerala Blasters Fans is nominated for deletion
can you please explain to me what's the reason for the deletion and redirection. I think they need an independent Wikipedia article.Iamfarzan (talk) 11:03, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- Nothing was deleted, it was just redirected. You can still find the article in the history. It was redirected because that was the outcome of the two discusions that have been held (WP:Articles for deletion/Manjappada & WP:Articles for deletion/Manjappada (2nd nomination)). If you believe there is a reason for the article to exist now, the proper avenue is to start it out in the Draft space and have it reviewed. ~ GB fan 11:18, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

Hello,
I hope you're well. I'm contacting you in regards to your speedy deletion of the Vacant Stations Wiki-article. I see that your reason for deletion was that it did not indicate notability, and there wasn't a separate page for the artist. In terms of the artist's page, he uses a pseudonym as the music is supposed to speak for itself. I think for that reason it should not require an seperate artist's article. In regards to notability, I was trying to address this but the page got deleted before I could add the necessary references. This artist has played on BBC and various other radio stations, I can find reviews etc. for this. Would this be sufficient? I think it's important that Vacant Stations and other ambient music artists are featured on Wikipedia just as much as popular musicians. These are the creatives that work behind the scenes to create music that set the mood for things like movies, and barely anyone ever knows their names. I would really appreciate any advice you might have to help me get this page up.
Thank you in advance.

- Atlantic306 did not say that he is notable. You added a
{{db-person}}
tag. That tag refers to the Speedy Deletion Criterion A7. A7 is based on significance, not notability. Significance is a much lower standard than notability. Atlantic stated in the edit summary that the article "has claims of significance
". That is all it takes to survive an A7 deletion. ~ GB fan 08:24, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
Question about deletion of page "Richard E. Blanchard Sr."
Good day, it just came to my attention that you have deleted this page: Richard E. Blanchard Sr.
I am this individual's granddaughter and heir, and wish to inquire if it can be restored. I saw your concern was whether there was permission to reprint an obituary, and did not know if it would help that the family gives consent for this obituary (which we wrote) to be used, or if I can help by changing the wording. I would also argue that Richard was notable for his musical and ministerial career and not only the song "Fill My Cup, Lord." I trust you will make the correct decision and let me know if you need additional information.

Changes to Oversight team
Following a request to the committee, the Oversight rights of GB fan (talk · contribs) are restored.
For the Arbitration Committee,
Speedy deletion declined
Hi there, I saw that you declined my speedy deletion (G8) on Charlotte Proudman. However, the policy gives an example that G8 applies to "Redirects to non-existent targets". Isn't a target whichever thing is targeted (including a section)? If not, should the wording on the policy maybe be changed to be more clear? -- WP:TARGET makes it seem like a "target" includes sections (since a "targeted redirect" is one that specifically points to a section, and it makes a point to differentiate a "target page").
This is my first time requesting a redirect for speedy deletion, done because another editor requested it here. I'll follow your advice and do an RfD, but I am a bit worried about the policy's vague wording (and I am especially worried about how it is malicious-sounding for a redirect of a living person to go to "Online shaming" without any sourced reason, which seems to be against WP:BLP policy). Thanks for your help! - Whisperjanes (talk) 22:48, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
Request a review of CSD decision
Hello, I respectfully request of review of the decline of the CSD for Enough (Boy Story EP) [4]. The all of the content in Enough (Boy Story EP) is duplicated in the Boy Story article, under Discography, Extended plays. in the Album details and Track listing columns. An identical article for another EP nominated at the same time I=U=WE 序(Xu) was approved for CDS A10. Thank you for your review. // Timothy :: talk 11:14, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- Even if it does contain enough of the same content to say they are nearly identical, WP:A10 does not apply as it is a valid redirect. A10 does not apply where the
title of the page is a plausible redirect to an existing page, it is not eligible for speedy deletion, and should be redirected instead.
. ~ GB fan 11:25, 4 August 2020 (UTC)- Thank you, that makes sense. // Timothy :: talk 19:34, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
Eleonora PROD
Hi, FYI the sources I removed from Eleonora, Princess of Ligne were both self-published (thepeerage.com is deprecated and Noblesse et Royautés is a royalty fan blog), which from my understanding violate BLP policy and must be removed. Does that still conflict with BLPPROD? JoelleJay (talk) 17:34, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
- Yes it does. BLPPROD requires no sources of any kind before you can add the BLPPROD. It doesn't make any difference if the sources are reliable or not or even self-published. A BLP article with a personal website is even ineligible for BLPPROD. If there is any source in the history then BLPPROD does not apply. ~ GB fan 17:46, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
Hi,
The SHR_(operating_system) page was deleted.
While the project is not active anymore, it's one of the GNU/Linux distributions that ran on the Openmoko, and it's also part of its history and free software history on mobile devices in general.
From the page from October 2018 from Kiwix, I can indeed see that it lacks many references.
I can find references if needed as there are many online (from the Openmoko wiki, to Michey Lauer's Openmoko history blog post, etc).
PS: Note that I was involved in SHR long time ago.

Hi GB fan,
Mittir Masi is a planned baseless article to troll a genuine non-notable female of Facebook. This article has almost cloned the name of a genuine article Mitin Masi. First, three citations nothing related to either this article or article Mitin Masi. Citation 4th, 5th and 6th are for article Mitin Masi and 7th citation are not related for both the articles. So there is not a single citation for this article. This article is created by a new user. Since you had reverted the speedy deletion tag I am providing the genuine reason. Unnecessary disambiguation
Hello GB fan. Here you correctly identified that there was only one entry left on a disambiguation page and you redirected Paul Sloane to Paul Sloane (director). This has created a page with unnecessary disambiguation. What I would have done is to swap the pages so that the article about the director is at the base name; redirect the (director) title to the base name as {{R from unnecessary disambiguation}}; and tagged the INTDAB link Paul Sloane (disambiguation) as G14. I've now done those things. Regards, Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:48, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
Inapropriate redirections
Nematopogoninae and Adelinae are subfamilies of Adelidae and should not redirect to the family. The contributor who created these redirections made a mistake. The red links serve an important function, they tell at a glance which pages exist and which do not. Look at family Buthidae, for instance. It would be a waste of time if all those red links redirected to the family, instead of staying red. I left this message also on the Nematopogoninae page. --Polinizador (talk) 20:21, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
- Polinizador, as I said in the edit summary when I declined the speedy deletion of those redirects, if you feel they should be deleted you will need to use WP:RFD. There are no speedy deletion criteria that apply to these redirects. ~ GB fan 09:38, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
