Please stop removing the {{notability}} tag until the issue has been addressed. In short, as written and cited, neither article meets WP:GNG, the General Notability Guideline. Neither is the subject of "significant coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject". An article (or two) about a request for a speed limit survey is not sufficient to meet that bar.

Typically, we don't dedicate independent articles to county roads. There just isn't the level of sourcing out there on most county roads to allow us to write articles that will meed the GNG. Normally these roads would be covered as entries in a list. If an individual county road exceeds the bar set by GNG, like Brockway Mountain Drive, H-58 (Michigan county highway), or County Road 510 (Marquette County, Michigan), then we would write an article. I created the CSAH 21 and CSAH 3 pages. It was my own work. I put a lot of time and effort into them, and used my own words no plagerism. If they are not satisfactory, I am sorry about that. I would prefer that something I put my time and effort into would not be butchered. The pages and data have been deleted. Thank you. Nobody has accused you of plagiarism or said that your work sucked. All that's been said is that you have to prove why CSAH 3 and CSAH 21 are notable. We'd rather not see your work be deleted; by merging everything into a list, we can be fairly certain that it won't. –Fredddie 22:32, 25 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Honestly, it's alright, I'm not upset at all. I still have the "wiki codes" for both pages still saved on a document. CSAH 3 in Pennington County and CSAH 21 in Polk County are notable for they provide a link between Grand Forks, North Dakota/East Grand Forks, Minnesota area and the Thief River Falls, Minnesota area. I lived up there for two years, and know that route inside and out. Without it, there would not be an "almost direct link" between the two areas. There's a lot more to it, but too much to type on this talk page. I just wanted my two original pages deleted so everything could be correctly re-listed on a new page. I've already started compiling a list of county routes and their termini for a list. I failed to specify that, my apologies there. -GMoney0805 (talk) 22:52, 25 March 2019 (UTC)GMoney0805GMoney0805 (talk) 22:52, 25 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
GMoney0805 once upon a time, Brockway Mountain Drive was nominated for deletion. (CSAH 3 and CSAH 21 have not been nominated for deletion, just had their notability questioned.) At the time, the article sucked. However, that nomination spurred some editors to improve the article to prove notability to stave off deletion. Later, more improvements were made, and now that article is a Featured Article, considered part of Wikipedia's finest work, an accolade that only around 0.1% of articles have achieved. I'm not saying that you need to improve CSAH3 and CSAH 21 to FA status; rather, you could invest a little more time researching the topics to find sources to prove the notability so that the articles meet our standards. That's all. Repeatedly removing a notice won't change the underlying facts though. Imzadi 1979  23:04, 25 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good to me. I do think that a county route list page for Pennington County makes more sense than just one page on one specific road. No worries, honestly am newish to Wikipedia, but once I gather a list together, I'll see what I can put together. Thanks I appreciate the honesty. WP:USRD/S/TUT has some tips. –Fredddie 00:13, 26 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Fredddie thanks
You can take a look at List of county roads in Roseau County, Minnesota and List of county roads in St. Louis County, Minnesota for a couple of the ways county route lists are written. The latter would clearly work better for incorporating more detail in narrative prose - i.e. to merge in the articles you've written already - but a drawback is that it makes any lack of information on other roads more noticeable.
(Also: It's fine that you're changing the destinations in the junction lists to what appears on the signage, but you should note that in the edit summaries so anyone watching the article knows that's what you're doing. There didn't appear to be a reason for it, which is why I reverted.) --Sable232 (talk) 01:41, 26 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Sable232 no worries your good completely understandable.
Imzadi1979 I appreciate the revisions on the list page. I was wondering if it would look like an eyesore haha.
Imzadi1979 Yeah it is officially signed. GMoney0805 (talk) 05:00, 28 April 2019 (UTC)GMoney0805GMoney0805 (talk) 05:00, 28 April 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by GMoney0805 (talkcontribs) 02:22, 28 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

You should remember to sign your posts. Otherwise linking to other users won't ping them.

As for this truck bypass, that's not an official state/AASHTO designation. You've also been linking to it with {{jct|state=MN|US|59}} and appending Thief River Falls Truck Bypass after the template. The result is that the "US 59" text is still linking to U.S. Route 59 in Minnesota, which is somewhat confusing because it's not part of the mainline of US 59.

If it were an official state/AASHTO designation, you'd use {{jct|state=MN|US-Truck|59|dab1=Thief River Falls}} or {{jct|state=MN|US-Byp|59|dab1=Thief River Falls}}, which would link to either U.S. Route 59 Truck (Thief River Falls, Minnesota) (Truck US 59) or U.S. Route 59 Bypass (Thief River Falls, Minnesota), respectively. Either of those links could be redirected to an appropriate article/article section. It appears that MnDOT has given the bypass a bit of sanction, but not much. I'd relegate any mention of it to the notes column and not try to list in the destinations column as if it were a fully official highway designation. Imzadi 1979  03:00, 28 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Imzadi1979I will change that. Thanks for the heads up. GMoney0805 (talk) 05:00, 28 April 2019 (UTC)GMoney0805GMoney0805 (talk) 05:00, 28 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:County 65A square.svg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:County 65A square.svg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. –Fredddie 23:38, 7 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Fredddie hey on the Pennington County page I've been working on, is the broken image notification at the top from the 65A? GMoney0805

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Interstate 94 in North Dakota, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Williston and Wahpeton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I-675 speed limit

edit

The article on I-675 is a Featured Article. As such, we should be trying to maintain it as an example of "Wikipedia's finest work".

I removed your addition of the speed limit the first time a few weeks ago because it wasn't cited.

Earlier today, you added that detail back and attempted to use Google Maps satellite imagery to support it. That doesn't work, so you're really back to the situation as before: adding uncited material to a Featured Article.

Beyond all that, I don't see that detail as needed in the article. If it was, it would have been added during the various review processes. Imzadi 1979  03:14, 23 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
