Welcome

Just wanted to extend a warm welcome to Wikipedia, and hope you like the place and/or decide to stay. Let me, or the friendly hosts at the Wikipedia Teahouse, know if you need guidance. (You can reply here or on my talk page.) Ovinus (talk) 23:01, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Lewis Hamilton

edit

Please refrain from the changing the long standing lede without consensus. Your attempts are too negative. I've never seen a F1 driver's lede changed so it continually mentions "loses", "difficult seasons", "failures to score" etc.. As an example, take a look at Sebastian Vettel's lede....it's brief without unnecessary mention of "loses" or his "difficulties" in 2014, 2019 and 2020 etc There is no need to put so much negative detail in a lede. Keep things brief.

Wikipedia is not a reliable source

edit

In a recent edit summary you linked another Wikipedia article claiming that that article verifies a claim made in the article you were editing (the similar but not identical claim made in the other article was itself unreferenced). This strongly suggests to me that you are unfamiliar with our guidelines on reliable sources and in particular the fact that Wikipedia is not a reliable source. I suggest that you read up on these guidelines so as to save yourself trouble in the future. I also suggest that you read up on synthesis of sources, which you seemed to be engaging in regarding that Car Throttle listicle source. Edit: Inspecting the Car Throttle source further it seems that the listicle in question was a blog post made by a user on the website, which would fall afoul of Wikipedia's guidelines on user-generated content. I may be misunderstanding this, but the byline and the about us page on the website in question did not inspire much confidence in the editorial oversight or fact checking that went into said source. I know this seems like a harsh message, but I only want to help others improve at editing Wikipedia. Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:XT RedZone per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/XT RedZone. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 21:25, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am totally against of these charges, which were claimed to be myself and User:XT RedZone are the same person. Yes, I did made changes in the Lewis Hamilton lead section, but as soon as I acknowledged that other users disagreed with my contribution, I walked away from it. It seems XT RedZone have made the same changes, but it was a revert edit to my version, I could not see how it would prove that we are the same person. Also, it is visible that XT RedZone have not made any changes in Nissan GT-R for months. When I began to edit that article, I deleted and changed some contributions of his/her, so if we were the same person why would I have done that? I hope the administrators would review this misunderstanding and provide the best for Wikipedia. Gaayhan (talk) 14:51, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Confirmed sockpuppetry. The technical data is unambiguous. Yamla (talk) 15:01, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I did not quite understand what you meant from "the technical data is unambiguous", can you specify more, so I can see whether I can help this investigation or not? Gaayhan (talk) 06:59, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Not an unblock request. You don't need to make an unblock request to ask a question. 331dot (talk) 09:03, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Answer for my question please.Gaayhan (talk) 10:48, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

It means that two CheckUsers agreed that the technical data confirms that the Gaayhan account and the XT RedZone account are operated by you.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:18, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
