- Thanks a lot! ^_^ I'm just trying to help with any information I can dig up, and I don't have enough time to bother with my own page which is why I put such a short intro to myself. I'm busy with so many projects it's not even funny. I hope to continue helping getting correct information best I can ^_^. Gamloverks (talk) 14:35, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
OK, it looks a lot better, but I don't think it is ready for a GA. Even Kobe Bryant is still not a GA yet. A reviewer from the GA department will come to address what needs to be done. For now, withdraw the GA and instead list for peer review. And by the way, to make multiple citations,
- Name the reference. For example: <ref name="Name">{{cite ...|author=...|....}}</ref>
- Then when you want to use the citation again, put the name of the reference in the text like this: <ref name="Name" /> BE SURE TO PUT THE FORWARD SLASH INSIDE THE BRACKETS.
Here's a true example:
Yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda<ref name="Yadda">yadda yadda yadda</ref> yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda<ref name="Yadda" /> == References == {{reflist}}
produces this:
Yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda[1] yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda[1]

Per WP:REF, I think you should include more references rather than using one over and over 8 times. Expand the lead (2-3 nice developed paragraphs), and copyedit the entire article. I see some grammar errors. (Too bad I'm not this) Cheers, Thisisborin9sign here! 22:31, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

- I added more to the intro/personal and included more references. Is it okay that I use wikipedia is a viable source for the NBA Playoff articles? Gamloverks (talk) 01:33, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- You should never use Wikipedia internal links as references. I don't know much about including internal links, but you can ask a more experienced editor. Cheers, Thisisborin9sign here! 01:39, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Easy References
editCopy and paste the following to your list of JavaScript commands. This will activate the script within and allow you to easily insert references into an article.
importScript('User:Mr.Z-man/refToolbar.js');
Note: After saving, you have to bypass your browser's cache to see the changes. Internet Explorer: press Ctrl-F5, Mozilla: hold down Shift while clicking Reload (or press Ctrl-Shift-R), Opera/Konqueror: press F5, Safari: press Cmd-Opt-E. For more info about scripts, see here.
- Nice job on the Pau Gasol page!!! It looks so much better... GA is not far away (but still pretty far) Cheers, Thisisborin9sign here! 01:45, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Pau Gasol
editSorry, I was on vacation and didn't have enough time to tell you. I also noticed the lead. I tried to revert it once, but the same IP reverted it back. I didn't want this to elevate to an edit war, so I left it that way... Cheers, Thisisborin9sign here! 08:20, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

- OK, you can try to nominate it for a GA now. When it passes, I'll give you some barnstars for your extreme hard work! Cheers, Thisisborin9sign here! 22:33, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
No offense, but I'll be blunt: You've done good work so far, but this article still has some work to do before it passes GA. I've started to work on it, and hopefully, with a little collaboration, we can push this through. Noble Story (talk) 11:43, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Also, some of the text used in the article comes straight from the references, which is very troubling. That is plagiarism and copyright violation (i.e illegal and definitely not allowed here). Noble Story (talk) 12:01, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for the heads up, I'm still improving on such things, so any clean-up or fixing you can do is much appreciated. Gamloverks (talk) 17:25, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Would you like for me to give the Pau Gasol a GA review now or wait until all the improvements from the peer review have been made? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 19:56, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, I'll start with the review. I'll notify you when I'm done. ;) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 21:08, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Done. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 22:17, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Everything looks fine, I'll pass the article, but the statement about him being single and residing in Marina del Rey, in the Personal life section, needs a source, though. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:27, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I'm glad to know that your hard work was given into your first GA. ;) If there's any other article in particular you would like for me to review, please don't hesitate to hit me. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 02:01, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- Again, don't hesitate to ask. ;) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 02:07, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Last month's Collaboration of the Month, Magic Johnson was a great success. A total of 560 edits were made to the article during the month of May, and the article was eventually nominated as a Featured Article Candidate. Although the article was not promoted, it was significantly improved through the work of many editors. This month's Collaboration of the Month is Steve Nash. Although this is article is already a Good Article, it still can be improved. In particular, all prose should conform to Featured Article standards, all statements should be verified, and the text should be in a neutral point of view. If there is anything you can do to improve the article, then please help out.
The Collaborator of the Month is given to the editor with the most number of substantial, beneficial edits to the article chosen as the Collaboration of the Month. This month's Collaborator of the Month award goes to Chensiyuan (talk · contribs). Although he had previously helped Magic Johnson to became a Good article, he made literally hundreds of edits during the month of May. For his contributions, he is rewarded with the NBA Collaborator of the Month Award. However, all beneficial edits made by any editor was a help. Re: Pau Gasol
editI don't necessarily know how an A-Class article works, but if you go here and leave a request, I think you can probably get the article to A-Class. I'm not really the reliable person to ask this. As for the GA's on my page, if you'd like, I can add it your page, instead of giving you the whole code system thing. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 16:16, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've added it. If you have any GA's, just look at the examples on my page and you'll be fine. Take your time, don't get stressed out with the A-Class. Just, do what you can and then you can work on another project. ;) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 19:17, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry I couldn't answer you earlier, because I was extremely busy. Don't really know how to get an article to A-Class cause I've never done it before. You can go over the criteria for featured articles and A-Class review (just like ThinkBlue said) Hope this helps! Cheers, Thisisborin9sign here! 06:37, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
