Block notice
edit{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Editing Wikipedia requires collaborating with a diverse community of individuals who may have different opinions, experience, and backgrounds than you. To this end, we expect all editors to behave with civility and respect for each other. Edit warring (which means repeatedly reverting other editors' changes), as you did on the Bird article, is a violation of Wikipedia policy because it often leads to an acrimonious atmosphere that hinders collaboration. Request reason:
This is absolutely ridiculous and Wikipedia ought to be embarrassed. Someone repeatedly reverted MY edits, and I'm the one who gets blocked for allegedly reverting edits. In other words, that person was special and privileged. My edits were small and benign, and did nothing more than to clarify and more accurately state facts. I even utilized the talk page to explain the reasoning.....but that kept getting deleted by a couple people who didn't want there to be any discussion on the matter. The really bizarre thing is that, even if the other person's ridiculous rationale were to be accepted, the edits I made were still 100% accurate statements. I don't think I really care if I get unblocked. But this really says a lot about Wikipedia. It's clearly turned into a completely unreliable source of information that exists to appease the egos of an apparently small number of people who want to dictate their version of reality to others. This is 1984. This whole episode has been a pathetic display of a couple of keyboard warriors who want to be God.Gekaapje (talk) 17:16, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Perhaps Wikipedia isn't for you, then. Yamla (talk) 17:52, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Well that response confirms everything I've said.Gekaapje (talk) 00:03, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
