Userboxes in a grid on your User Page?

edit

Thanks for your help with the map image.

Your user boxes display very well.

Where can I find out about the USER : UBX tag that you have used?

GeoFan49 00:14, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

That's just something I did for myself, to keep myself a little better organized. All I did was create a separate user page and named it User:Tomtheman5/UBX. This essentially creates a subdirectory under my user page. Then I put all my userboxes there (using code). Follow the link, and you'll see what I mean.
Then, to include the entire contents of my "UBX" sub-page into my main user page, I just used the code [[:User:Tomtheman5/UBX]]. (Remember to use that first colon)
I did this also with my "to do" list, my sandboxes, and my milestones page. This way, the code for my main user page is nice and clean, and all the edits are made in the sub-pages.
If you choose to do this, and you need help with it, please, just let me know! tiZom(2¢) 02:22, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Schenectady Massacre

edit

I was doing some recent changes patrolling for new articles. I say you made an article Schenectady Massacre which had no information on it. I labeled it as a speedy delete because it had no context. Many users patrol recent changes. To avoid confusion in the future, please write the stub before you label a blank article as one and then write information on it. You can also write the article in a user subdirectory. Type in on the left toolbar User:GeoFan49/Desired Page Name and then click go. You can edit your whole article and come back to it. Then when you're done you can either copy and paste everything into the article or click move on the top of your finished page. Thank you.++aviper2k7++ 05:44, 16 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dotted lines?

edit

Why does Ceuta  Ceuta have dotted lines, sometimes, when this user page is displayed?

Compare:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:GeoFan49

with

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:GeoFan49/Places

Why does Ceuta not have dotted lines on the latter, but it does on the former?

Come and join the random picture of the day!

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
