Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Roe Brewster Castle, from its old location at User:Gloucester1692/sandbox/Roe Brewster Castle. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. -Liancetalk/contribs 20:34, 2 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Charles Uncles, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New Windsor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Church of the Corner-Stone

edit

Hey, I moved your draft to main space: it seemed notable to me, and I was able to add a few quick references which connected the church to famous people. There's a lot of work to be done--but do have a look at WP:DYK and see if you can get it clean enough to put it on the front page. I think it's interesting. Change of information for Lee Woodward Zeigler

edit

This already had a talk page discussion on the topic you edited, please use the talk page next time. Thank you, Jooojay (talk) 22:56, 14 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

I also wanted to mention that Find-a-Grave is not considered a reliable source, please read WP:RS to understand better. Jooojay (talk) 23:59, 14 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
I understand. Regarding one edit you made pertaining to the "Fanewood Drive" section, I had corrected it to include something along the lines of "Fanewood was located in the stately neighborhood of New Windsor-on-Hudson." New Windsor-on-Hudson is a defunct neighborhood in New Windsor from the turn of the century. Referring to the "newer" 1950's neighborhood built around the house as still being called "New Windsor-on-Hudson" would be untrue. The house is on Broad Street, not Fanewood Drive, but this should be kept anyway. Estates are generally referred to by their name rather than being followed by "estate". I will change the section to merge both of our ideas. Gloucester1692 (talk) 01:57, 15 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
I understand your point re: adding estate, however its unclear with just adding a name for the sake of an encyclopedia. That is why it was clarified. Please use the article talk page next time. Jooojay (talk) 06:28, 15 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your edits to Pilgrim Monument?

Hi. Just wondering what this was intended to be. -- RoySmith (talk) 18:37, 10 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I was trying to eliminate the massive blank space that occupied the page before. Feel free to change it back, but the infobox takes up so much room that the other pictures are placed awkwardly.Gloucester1692 (talk) 21:47, 10 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

McQuade Home

edit

Hello Gloucester1692 I came across McQuade Home and thought that the article is more about Enoch L. Fancher than the home, and considered renaming it. I am aware that you also wrote W. E. Warren House so perhaps you're still working on expanding McQuade Home, so the renaming McQuade Home to Enoch L. Fancher would be a bad idea. What do you think? Vexations (talk) 20:37, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Vexations, I wasn't finished with the page but moved it to article thinking it could be finished. The information is very obscure but it has been called McQuade Home longer than it would've been called the Fancher Home. Gloucester1692 (talk) 2:25, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
Gloucester1692, I see. My concern was that the article was mostly about the person, rather than the house.Vexations (talk) 19:31, 14 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Ram1055. I noticed that you recently removed content from Walsh-Havemeyer House without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox.
