Green Martini
June 2019
editHello Green Martini. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Green Martini. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Green Martini|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. SmartSE (talk) 15:11, 18 June 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
Let me start by saying that the text you see now on the article is not at all what I originally submitted. The original article was read and approved by someone and the community decided to edit and remove the content. I cannot be help responsible and being blocked, based on the current content of the article! I agree with you, there was room for improvement but I thought the community was there to help and improve on it, not destroy it. I still believe this could have been a good subject for Wikipedia. This was and is a good learning experience for me and whatever the decision is to keep my account blocked or unblocked, I will accept it.Green Martini (talk) 11:31, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you at this time. It was your revisions that were promotional, with such lines as first discovered the passion
, including the most prestigious shows
, and By now around the world, more than 100 million people have now seen
. Regrettably, as you do not recognize this as promospeak, I cannot unblock you. Please see user:dlohcierekim/g12 for links to how to avoid promospeak. If you were trained to write this way, or make your living at it, it can be hard to unlearn. Dlohcierekim (talk) 12:08, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
I made a disclore on my user page. I’m new to Wikipedia and confirm that I am not directly or indirectly being compensated for my edits in Wikipedia. Nathalie Gagné page is my fist contribution and still in the learning process.
Decline reason:
Your draft article for Nathalie Gagné was offensive in its violation of WP:PROMO. You did indeed disclose your conflict of interest on your user page, but this doesn't permit you to so blatantly violate WP:PROMO. Yamla (talk) 12:42, 22 July 2019 (UTC)
