Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Redskins Rule. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits to the Maxwell_(musician) article. Unfortunately the 2 articles that you have linked to have cited Wikipedia for their information. These articles will be corrected via their original authors and when they are I'll be returning the article to the state with the correct information. It is most appreciated that you have found these links so we can make sure that Wikipedia has the correct information for him.

Previous edits have been referred to as potential vandalism due to repeated, unattributed attempts by unregistered parties to change the name at a variety of locations within the article. There were no legal threats made at any point. And for the Conflict_of_interest you mention, quoting the referenced article itself "When advancing outside interests is more important to an editor than advancing the aims of Wikipedia, that editor stands in a conflict of interest.", the interest here is only to get correct information about the artist to the world. That includes his name. By correcting wikipedia we are furthering it's reputation as a neutral, reliably sourced encyclopedia with correct information. I'm glad that we have the same goals for both Wikipedia and the Maxwell_(musician) article.

I cannot find any evidence saying that those articles cited Wikipedia or where they got their evidence from, but those are legitimate news sources. While I'm neutral towards Maxwell in general, it was somewhat acknowledged that Gerald Maxwell Rivera was his real name since his management has already deleted it from his page citing his desire not to reveal his name, even though Wikipedia is not censored. Also, well-meaning editors can have a Conflict of interest especially since "Any external relationship – personal, religious, political, academic, financial, and legal – can trigger a conflict of interest." My goals are Wikipedia's goals, to put out verifiable and well-sourced information about people and topics whether they like it or not. That's journalism and that's writing an encyclopedia. Please note that the only links that are being removed are sources which do not contain this incorrect name. The New Yorker link you referenced does not currently reference this name as it is incorrect. If the name is found on a legitimate news website, it stays on the page. If you can't attribute it, it goes away. I'm neutral to Maxwell as well but this is just how Wikipedia works. That's why references are needed in the first place, especially with information that is contested. Hey friend, no offense really. I just like to get the info right. You added that Paul Tanaka is a member of the "Republican Party (United States)", yet the source you cited refers to a state election. In the article you cited, it states that Tanaka is supporting republican "Nathan Mintz" for "California's 66th State Assembly district". On that wiki article--California's 66th State Assembly district--it lists Mintz as a member of the California Republican Party. First off, I'm not scared of your threat of you trying to block me. If that happens, so be it. But let me say that while you want to blame this all on me, you are not innocent in this matter with remarks such as this. Nope I'm not trying to blame you whatsoever and I realize I've not been amazing myself, I admit I could've worded that much much better however saying stuff like "Dealing with bad faith editors" and "A simple Google search could have found sources, but some are more interested in making a point instead of good faith contributions" is going to rile me up, My reversions were in completely good faith and I even said "rm designed as unsourced & isn't mentioned anywhere in the article" - Alls you needed to have done is come back with a source and that would've been it but instead you readded back with a snarky edit suammry so I left one back,

I don't mean this in a funny way but if any editor adds a name, claim, whatever they need to provde a source - You can't expect editors to go around sourcing after you,

In my opinion content creators are the most valuable asset we have on Wikipedia. As such, I think every facet should be utilized to make them (content creators) as comfortable as possible on Wikipedia. I identify Guiletheme as a content creator. The more constructive manner in which Davey2010 could have dealt with Guiletheme was to rather than making a blanket wholesale revert, (a) see whether the content is easily verifiable; (b) possible tag it if unsure, or (c) to find a citation yourself. Fuente enthusiasts

For what it's worth, there are a bunch of different accounts that have done nothing but make edits concerning Rocky De La Fuente, including Special:Contributions/Sammythesquirrel123, Special:Contributions/Pablo1291, Special:Contributions/Therealjot, and several IP addresses. Apart from the single-topic focus they don't seem to have an editing pattern in common, so I doubt this is one person with sock puppets. It's more likely that his campaign staff is encouraging their most engaged people to edit Wikipedia, which is annoying but not prohibited. I've noticed how you've made many productive contributions to Wikipedia in regards to background information on development of various brands and models. Thank you, as it's not easy to do it by yourself and you've unearthed information on many designers and engineers I have otherwise not succeeded. I very much empathize in the respect, how other editors are very quick to revert productive contributions such as your various research and often dismissive of design patent registrations. 2018 Toyota Camry (010B/XV60?) and Lexus LS (200B/XF50)

Cartiabiano, a longtime Toyota designer, was first known for his work on the second generation Avalon he designed in 2002-2003. The design for the new Camry (010B) was approved 18 months before its 2015 design freeze, which somehow points to an early 2014 design approval date. By late 2015, Japanese Kurumagt put out renderings of a silver Camry, which turned out to be extremely identical to the final design. I got ahold of these last (late) April and posted them on a forum to gain coverage, for Amer./EU/Africa/etc consumption in early May (despite public obsession with NS4 concept rendering). Do you think next to Ian Cartiabiano, that (2014) should be added? Development might've begun in 2012, from past research I've done on the car. Styling efforts for the updated XV50 was nearly complete by late 2012, which concluded entirely in 2013. Toyota spent more time on developing it, due to it being the first application of TNGA-K.

Now regarding the LS, I had been extremely certain that the design was finalized very early in 2014, as by October 2014, top Lexus UK personnel were shown the new LS in prototype form behind closed doors, despite it being on schedule for an early 2018 launch. The LF-FC was developed to somewhat preview the 2018 LS and be the basis of a range-topping fuel cell limousine due in 2020, which started at Tokyo's design centre in mid-2014 and sketching first presented done by September 5, 2014. Thanks for your wonderful contributions to Wikipedia. I think I may no longer be editing on Wikipedia (probably not of my own choice lol), so I am hoping you carry the torch for giving background info for R&D on various automobiles. That was my goal, but that has fallen flat and I am tired (lost patience with back & forth, little help). Wikipedia is a honeypot for folks with Asperger's and my time here made me realize I had the condition. I feel it is important to remember a high number of other editors are also on the spectrum as well, and as someone who works in the mental health world and with fellow autistic individuals as well, it's quite clear to see. The problem with Wikipedia is that everyone here has a personal agenda and I don't see how "not biting the newcomers" is more important than verifiable facts, are we an encyclopedia or a social network? I've been editing Wikipedia for 14 years now under different names, and it is what it is. If I have information to share, I'll share it, but it doesn't matter to me what a bunch of folks who spend too much time behind a keyboard think of me. There are many ways to contribute and share your knowledge and passion on the Internet, Wikipedia is just one of them. Starting a car website or blog might be a great idea, and if you do, please share. This is one of the best responses I have read in 11 years on this site. I have not highlighted that I have Asperger's in the ANI discussion there, but I have seen it as a gift, as in most cases it is. I think a website is probably the best idea. Wikipedia being referred to or copied and pasted globally, was one reason I came here. So that I wouldn't have to be going from forum to forum, infinite chat or comment sections, to spread the news myself tirelessly in place of inaccuracies. Japanese Patent Database Treasure Trove

Go to the JPTO ASAP, so many answered questioned lie in there. Not to mention Motor Fan magazines I keep ordering left and right. I am discovering many patents with dates you'd never expect, usually very close to company internal decision making. For example, the CD 1994 Accord program was reported to Bloomberg in 1993, as getting revisions in the spring of 1992 belatedly to the raise the hood. The original design was approved on December 18, 1990, a very early date for Honda at nearly 3 years before launch. I think between Motor Fan's 1993 report and an April 1992 filing in Japan, I've seen the original version before it got corrected and then re-filed for patent later in 1992. Plus many other very old patents, USPTO and European OHIM/OAMI don't even have. Plus, nearly all of them list the responsible designers.
