P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

Proximity of Tims

edit

Hi, Guspaz – This isn't an issue I'm deeply concerned about, but I'm still skeptical of the claim you can find a Tim Hortons within five or six blocks in any Canadian city. You certainly can't in Toronto. I live in downtown Toronto, and the nearest Tims is over a mile away (12 blocks according to my map). There are no Tims on or near Bathurst Street north of St.Clair. Or on St. Clair West, come to think of it. Of course, in West Toronto people know coffee, eh? John FitzGerald 12:43, 3 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

It was more something that is said jokingly. I thought the edit reflected that, but it appears to have long been removed, so I guess problem solved. Guspaz 04:26, 9 Dec 2005 (UTC)

ebaumsworld

edit

Hi, guspaz. Being listed in the cleanup list does not affect an article's need to be cleaned up. The EBaum's World is confusing, overly detailed, bloated, and poorly written. Additionally, the cleanup tag was on there a week or two ago and go removed during some of the edit scuffles. In the same way that you shouldn't arbitrarily put the cleanup tag on a page without updating the cleanup page and listing a reason why it is needed, you probably shouldn't arbitrarily remove it. If you see a lapse in procedure (or was it listed in December?), perhaps the appropriate action would be to correct the procedure rather than revert it. Dbchip
