License tagging for Image:Stevebeshear.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Stevebeshear.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Speedy deletion of "Halyn Roth"
editA page you created, Halyn Roth, has been tagged for deletion in accordance with our deletion policy. In particular, it meets one or more criteria for speedy deletion; the relevant criterion is:
- Author requests deletion, if requested in good faith, and provided the page's only substantial content was added by its author. If the author blanks the page, this can be taken as a deletion request.
As you created the page, and have removed all content from it, it is assumed that you wish for it to be deleted. If this is not the case, you should restore the previous content of the page
If you have any questions, please contact an administrator for assistance. Thank you – Gurch 21:04, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Roth Carpet and Bedding
editA tag has been placed on Roth Carpet and Bedding requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 20:46, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Beshear.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Beshear.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:32, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with File:Holbertlogo.png
editThanks for uploading File:Holbertlogo.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 22:20, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Darlene Fitzgerald Price
editThe article Darlene Fitzgerald Price has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Bio of political candidate. Has not held elected office before, therefore does not meet WP:POLITICIAN.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Crusio (talk) 16:33, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Notability criteria
editYou'll no doubt notice that the Price article is gone. If she gets in, then there'll be an article on her. Or if you can more clearly show a reason to have an article on her even before the election (which you didn't), then I'll restore it. I'm going to think carefully about the Waltz article over the next few days (won't have time to do any serious editing until Tuesday); "executive vice-president of the IWVO" is probably enough of a reason, but I'm not certain yet. DS (talk) 12:36, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
So an article about a legitimate candidate for elected office is not criteria for an article? Halynr1600 (talk) 20:54, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
