- That's very interesting to hear, but I will pass. I don't know much about the election, but I believe things will go well if the community puts their votes in the right place. HangInThere1000 (talk) 22:16, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
Journey RIAA certs
editOccasionally over the time I've been working with List of highest-certified music artists in the United States, RIAA has published some unusual stats in the source material that just don't look right. I expect the sudden cert of 43.5 million Journey digital singles on January 26 will turn out to be one of those goofs. If legit, it would make them one of only two acts of that vintage (with Michael Jackson) to bust into the top 50 digital singles, and even Mike never suddenly found 40 million units they forgot to certify.
I've emailed RIAA to clarify. They've never responded directly in the past, but have eventually fixed the ones that were wrong. —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 02:48, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- I always make sure to double check the website to make sure there aren't any errors in the charts.
- Speaking of Journey, I find it odd how no news websites are talking about how Don't Stop Believin' is tied with Post Malone's Sunflower for the highest certified digital single in the US. HangInThere1000 (talk) 06:41, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
