Adult Fan Fiction.Net

edit

The article Adult Fan Fiction.Net has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 14:55, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

WikiProject Furry

edit
Looking for something to do? WikiProject Furry is improving articles on furry and anthropomorphic topics, and we'd like to have you on board.

Our current goal is to raise Anthrocon, furry convention and furry fandom to good article status and beyond - but if that doesn't take your fancy, there are plenty of other articles to work on. Give it a go and let us know how you're doing!

You received this one-time invitation because you are a Furry Wikipedian. GreenReaper 22:48, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of List of fan fiction terms

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of fan fiction terms. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of fan fiction terms (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:07, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:Daffy-duck-donald-duck.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Daffy-duck-donald-duck.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Melesse (talk) 01:52, 8 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Leicester City

edit

I saw your poem on the Leicester City talk page and it made my day. Thank you GhostOrchid35 (talk) 07:49, 3 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! I wrote it about an hour after Foxes won the league. It's tough for people to notice anything on the Internet when there's so much of everything and nothing both at once, but it's always nice to be noticed. And we tacked on another three points today, although with it being home against Everton I can't say I hugely doubted the result. Harley Quinn hyenaholic (talk) 01:53, 8 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Gender guess

edit

"stringent grammar" might suggest gender "female". However I have cheated (do I think I have, atleast) so I say You are a man. Reasons 1. Appear to like competitions, 2. Appear to have feelings for - the truely amazing Leicester City F.C.. I doubt a woman would put that much passion in to what's actually is my congratulations to the club and its fans. Cheers - and I'm aware that I may be wrong. Boeing720 (talk) 17:50, 10 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
