You wrote in the article on Moazzam Begg that
his admission to meeting Abu Zubaydah was coerced testimony. Do you have a source for that? I can't recall a single instance where Begg ever admitted to having made a statement that wasn't true, even under duress.

- I found the transcript to the Democracy Now interview, and Begg does not claim to have recanted anything. In that interview, he doesn't even deny having met Abu Zubaydah. He only says it wouldn't have been a crime to have done so.
- If you disagree then we should take it up further in the Talk:Moazzam_Begg page.
- As for the idea that he's been exonerated, that's clearly not true. He simply hasn't been charged with a crime, as this isn't a criminal matter.
- BTW: You should end posts in talk sections with ~~~~ to mark a signature with a timestamp.

It is felt that the article you created at Hasan Diwan is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable. I have moved it to User:HasanDiwan, which is where users are free to write about themselves. You are at liberty to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion. As a user page it is likely to survive untouched. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 02:26, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Comments in the text of articles
editPlease do not insert comments into articles, as you did with John E. Sweeney. Either simply change the text, and explain your change in the edit summary, or raise the issue (post the comment) on the talk/discussion page. I moved your comment to Talk:John E. Sweeney and have responded to it on that page. Thanks. John Broughton 20:57, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

==Parking for the event on Saturday==
The library's parking lot is adjacent to the library; if you enter from San Vicente, it's the lot on the right. Validation is available for three hours, but please note: the lot fills up quickly. (There's another lot on the opposite side of the driveway. Parking is validated for an hour at the booth on the ground floor of the garage or near the small dog area on the opposite side of West Hollywood Park.)
Parking in West Hollywood is treacherous! If you park on the street make sure to read the signs. Most everywhere is permit parking, and the wonderful park is in part financed by parking tickets. So. Alternative transit methods are a great idea.
We look forward to seeing you! Blervis and JSFarman (talk) 03:46, 14 February 2024
