editHello, I'm Sitush. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Ranghar, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. editHello, I'm Sitush. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living person on Ranghar, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 08:20, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

POV pushing on Sunni Islam template
editSir, I saw what you did recently on Template:Sunni Islam. While we are all entitled to our own opinions, please keep in mind that personal views can not be promoted as truth on Wikipedia. In sectarian debates, Barelvis often claim to be the only true Sunnis and that Ahle Hadis are Wahhabis. People are free to hold such views, but these are not academic views. Both groups are sub-branches of Sunnism as recognized by scholarly consensus and as such, tampering with the template does not provide readers with a holistic view of the development of Sunnism. Please review what is actually written in both articles before making such adjustments again, as the status of both groups is made clear there. MezzoMezzo (talk) 05:57, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
Use authentic sources

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- You can give your input at project's main discussion page and keep it on your watchlist: Wikipedia talk:Notice board for Pakistan-related topics.
- You can !vote and work on saving articles that are up for deletion at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Pakistan.
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every Pakistan article in Wikipedia.
- Can you code? The automation department uses automated and semi-automated methods to perform batch tasks that would be tedious to do manually.
- Please participate in any of our descendant workgroups that might interest you.
- Add your name in the members at Wikipedia:WikiProject Pakistan/Members. There's also a user box template which you can put on your user page to identify yourself as a member: {{User WikiProject Pakistan}}

Disambiguation links
editI see that you have been receiving messages about linking to disambiguation pages for nearly seven weeks. The idea of those messages is that when you get one, you read it, realise your mistake, and make sure you never do the same again, not that you just ignore the message and continue in the same way. Please make sure when you add links to articles that the links do not point to disambiguation pages. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:33, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Nargis (actress), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Geniac (talk) 02:53, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sonia Rao, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://pakistanmediaupdates.com/news-anchor-sonia-rao-biography-2185.html.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 02:35, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

editPlease do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Nargis (actress). There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Geniac (talk) 05:47, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
Sources and copyright
editPlease note that I have reverted your additions to Nirma (actress) as there were several serious problems with the edit; of most concern is your addition of unsourced personal information and your upload and inclusion of a copyright-violating image. The Biographies of Living Persons and copyright policies are two of the most strict policies we have on Wikipedia, please ensure you familiarize yourself with them. Please also note that, save for a small handful of exceptions, flag icons are not included in infoboxes.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:28, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
In addition, the Sonia Rao article you created was a blatant copyright violation which you lifted from another website and has been deleted accordingly. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:33, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
- Hasan Okarvi, I have reverted nearly all of your edits from the last two days as they cannot be trusted. You have introduced multiple copyright violations and unsourced personal information to articles. Please do not continue to upload or add images to articles until you have a better grasp on copyright requirements and ensure that information you add to biographies is reliably sourced.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:47, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Sunni Meeladi
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Sunni Meeladi, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
- It appears to be about something made up, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. editYour recent editing history at NA-128 (Lahore-VI) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Help Riaz-ul-Haq, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Rao Abdur Rasheed moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Rao Abdur Rasheed. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Seawolf35 T--C 18:12, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
