Here are some tips to help you get started:

Creation of Adam

edit

Hi. See the talk page Creation of Adam. It seems to me that with such a small stub article, the thing to do is add more material rather than remove what little there is... Kaisershatner 17:58, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for your comments; see the talk page over there for more discussion. Kaisershatner 16:52, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

category sorting

edit

My understanding was always that an ø was supposed to be filed alphabetically as an o -- if that's wrong, my apologies. Bearcat 22:57, 14 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

Annie's birth year

edit

Hi, I'm just wondering where you got the info that Annie was born in 1977. I had the chance to speak with her after her Philadelphia show on September 24th, and she informed us she was born in '78. I'm preparing to make a major update to her page and I just wanted to discuss this with you before I made any changes :) Carolyn81 22:36, 11 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, ok. I'll leave it as is. Her age has been reported as 26 in various recent articles so I might put a note on the discussion page saying it's uncertain. Carolyn81 13:52, 12 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Olympic stub

edit

Not every athelete goes to an Olympic games, tho for notable athletes that usually, but not always is because the sport they are in is not an Olympic sport. I feel it's a useful distinction, and I'm not the only person who uses that stub for that purpose. As for the indentions, it's a personal quirk about how I prefer stubs to be presented. I don't edit articles if the only change I would make is the arrangement of the stubs. Caerwine 18:44, 22 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks

Oops! Need to check my atlas before I try to write the locations... Thanks for correcting my mistake. Sjakkalle (Check!) 15:53, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please accept my apology

edit

Hi Havardk. I owe you an apology. I have a sort of edit war with a user who believes that   is an innocent, non-EU flag. He states that as long as the flag is suffixed by Europe and not   Europe, only brain dead people (that would be me) would think of the European Union. So I’ve done an experiment placing the   Europe in the Norway article. You reaction shows that I’m not alone in thinking   = EU. Sorry for your inconvenience, I won’t disturb you again.--195.249.162.119 11:40, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
