HSDM

edit

I don't find the URLs to HSDM very useful. Indeed, this will only imply to patients that their drug is a "hazardous substance" - a message we should not be sending. JFW | T@lk 14:58, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

HSDM

edit

The database is HSDB, and is actually a peer reviewed compendium covering over 5,000 substances. They have recently added many drug records, and the data goes into efficacy, uses, safety and handling, as well as toxicity. The term "Hazardous" does not imply toxicity, although some drugs do have this. Did you look at the full record to see the extent of data? Taking the term "Hazardous" from the URL might solve this. Thanks

Thanks for fixing this link. The FDA re-arranged their website last year, and we've been playing catch-up ever since. There's a list of dead links at User:MastCell/FDA_links, if you're interested in doing more of this important, but neglected, work. WhatamIdoing (talk) 19:43, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
