Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Anwar Ibrahim into People's Justice Party (Malaysia). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:17, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Pakatan Harapan, you may be blocked from editing. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 21:58, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at National Trust Party (Malaysia). Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 21:58, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

The source you used to claim that AMANAH is a right-wing and islamist party specifically calls them inclusive, moderate, democratic and progressive, mentions no position or islamism, and claims they want to distance themselves from the conservatism of PAS. The claims you add are gross synthezis of the source and is not corroborated at all! Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 22:04, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
The party website outlines the main objective of the party being to "uphold Islam as a foundation of cause" ("Memartabatkan Islam sebagai dasar perjuangan") with their party vision being to become the main Islamic party in Malaysia. I don't know what else screams Islamism than wanting to be the frontline of Islamic politics, upholding Maqasid Shariah principles, using "Rahmatan lil 'Alamin" as one of their main slogans, and having their party objective outlined based on Islam. EmpAhmadK (talk) 10:53, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Islamic politics are not unique to any part of the political spectrum! Also, no primary sources should be used for the ideology-section, so their website is out of the question! Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 01:56, 30 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Given that we're here to report correct information you should correct the figure who produced the words you attributed to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. These words are part of a poem written by Turkish poet Ziya Gökalp. Hope you would correct it. Best, Egeymi (talk) 17:08, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1928 Democratic National Convention, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James A. Reed. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
