NHL 11 Europe release date
Hi, I was wondering what the actual release date for NHL 11 was in Europe. I've got a bunch of North American sources that all say that it was 17 September, but GameReactor and Gamer.no say it was 16 September. I'm more inclined to take the dates from the European sites. Do you know what it was? Thanks, –Schmloof (talk · contribs) 11:11, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- I think it's logical to think that video games are usually released first in the NA and then in EU. GameReactor and Gamer.no are both Norweigan sources, so they're EU. But they too may be using the NA release date? So honestly I don't really know, and I haven't bought the game myself yet. But for me it sounds pretty reasonable that it was released in Europe on September 17. And the AU version was released on September 16. I think we should follow consensus here: most sources say it was released on September 17 in Europe. And by the way, I've fixed some broken refs I saw. Also, would you be willing to expand the reception section at NHL Slapshot? I don't have time to do so myself right now, but otherwise I may do it when I have time later. - Also, it may be possible to get the NHL 11 article up to GA? HeyMid (contributions) 11:30, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- Yup, that's my goal. Here's a tool I just discovered that helps with references, by the way: WP:Reflinks. Try the "Interactive version" for even better results. I plan on fixing up Slapshot once I've finished with 11. –Schmloof (talk · contribs) 11:57, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
I've proceduraly renominated this article for deletion, for the reasons given in the second nomination. MickMacNee (talk) 15:46, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
