HOS4, it looks like it needs to be locked down for vandalism. The vandalism edits are bizarre. Maybe the work of a child. Botendaddy 20:41, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Botendaddy: I love the acronym you made . Secondly, I agree but since the last edit was ~13 days ago I don't think an admin will protect it. I'll keep it on my watchlist just in case it picks up. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 22:57, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi HickoryOughtShirt?4. Thanks for the cleanup, like the other times. Could I ask you to consider the text that you are writing on Wikipedia with edits such as this, and perhaps install twinkle or popups or even just do a plain edit? Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 06:57, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Zzuuzz: Hey! I have no problem using Twinkle but I'm a little confused what the problem is using rollback? Isn't it for obvious vandalism? HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 07:09, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- Indeed it is, and if it wasn't for the edit summary it would be perfect. But with problematic usernames there is additional cleanup to do, because of you. Consider this rhetorical point: repeat to me the text you added, that you actually wrote on Wikipedia, with that edit. And don't take this personally I say this to a lot of people as it's a pet peeve. -- zzuuzz (talk) 07:13, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Zzuuzz: Ah, got it. I'll keep that in mind! Thanks HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 07:15, 7 June 2018 (UTC)

ATLANTA BLACK PRIDE
HELLO, THE INFORMATION THAT IS CURRENTLY ON THIS PAGE IS NOT TRUE AND NOT AUTHORIZED BY THE ORGANIZATION, ATLANTA BLACK PRIDE WHICH IS THE ORGANIZATION I WORK FOR. SO I AM WRITING THE TRUTH AND UPDATING THIS UNTRUE PAGE. THE LINK OF THE WEBSITE IS NOT AUTHORIZED BY IN THE LIFE ATLANTA WHICH ARE THE OFFICIAL ORGANIZERS. SO HOW DO I MAKE SURE THAT THIS PAGE IS EITHER UPDATED WITH THE INFORMATION I HAVE PROVIDED TO YOU OR THE PAGE IS SHUT DOWN AND REMOVED? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amberallyn (talk • contribs) 04:18, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Amberallyn: Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. It would be much appreciated if you didn't type in all caps as that is seen as shouting. Moving on, Wikipedia pages do not have to be authorized by the organization as this is not a personal website for them. Check out What Wikipeida is and is not. Since you work for the organization you have an conflict of interest and should make edit requests instead of directly editing the page. I suggest before you make edit requests to check out our neutral point of view policy. Further queries can be asked and answered at the helpdesk. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 04:21, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry for the all caps. I wasnt shouting. So will you please make the corrections that I was trying to make. I had no idea how to get these changes to be made. I have tried to email someone to have them make the corrections. This is about the reputation of Atlanta Black Pride and someone claiming our reputation but having done no work. I would like to think that your site is about truth and not allowing falseness to be said about a nonprofit like Atlanta Black Pride. Can you help me? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amberallyn (talk • contribs) 04:40, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Amberallyn: I don't you who you emailed but please note that paid editing needs to follow strict requirements to edit Wikipedia. Also, I don't see anything that is detrimental to the reputation of this organization nor have you provided any citations for the changes you want to make. All you are doing is adding non-notable board members with absolutely no citations. Check out our reliable sources policy first and then make edit requests due to your conflict of interest. I will not be re-adding your edits at this time. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 04:45, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
no problem! where do i submit paperwork of ownership of the name and service mark paperwork for Atlanta Black Pride? thank you for the information. oh you mentioned a cost? can you explain? we will be interested in doing that. I will just create a new page. Again thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amberallyn (talk • contribs) 04:51, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- I am confused by what you mean by "paperwork of ownership of the name and service mark paperwork". No one owns a page on Wikipedia, even if you create it. You can admit your conflict of interest on your user page by following the instructions on this page, WP:DISCLOSE. As well, if you want to create a page specifically on your organization you do so by following this page WP:YFA but you must admit you work for them. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 04:56, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Amberallyn: I forgot to explain cost; some people pay others to edit Wikipedia but again, they must follow strict guidelines. I suggest skimming through Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure and you can further inquire at the helpdesk or the teahouse. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 05:01, 10 June 2018 (UTC)

Don't blindly revert the edited article
I didn't get your point. Don't you want make this article more efficient? Are you good with the false crap and the junks with grammatical errors? If you don't want to touch anything on junk article then what is the point to ask public to contribute?
- The content is well sourced. You have been reverted by myself and another editor already as well. I suggest you start a discussion on the talk page but making edits like this isn't making the article more efficient. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 07:44, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
- The content is not well sourced. Did you ever noticed the changes? names are repeated thrice, same information are repeated multiple times. In addition to that, the sentence formations are poor. I don't understand how could you possibly say that the content is well sourced. If you don't know please ask someone else to read through that article and make it better. Don't be the moderator to keep junks on wikipedia.
- @Xyzabcd007: We have an editing guideline or "saying" on Wikipedia called "Be bold". If you notice small spelling mistakes or want to add content etc. then please be bold and do it yourself. However, outright removing content with no edit summary as you did above seemed to be censoring to me at first glance. I apologize if we got off on the wrong foot. I am going to leave a welcome message on your page with helpful links to help you navigate Wikipedia better. However, if you want to outright remove this content which has been seen by many established editors as not to be "fake news" as you so call it, then take it to the talk page, please. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 08:00, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Xyzabcd007: On another note, don't see how "well sourced" has to do with sentence structure. Well sourced on Wikipedia means the sentences have reliable sources backing up what the content says. Don't worry, it's all laid out in the welcome template I left for you. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 08:03, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
- You screwed me again. didn't you? all my responses are refreshed by your reply. That article is full of grammatical mistakes and false news. Forget about false news, at least grammatical mistakes and repetitive junks can be corrected. You never reviewed my changes. Did you?
- @Xyzabcd007: Edit conflicts happen a lot on Wikipedia, I promise I am not doing it on purpose. On that note, please take a glance at our policy on assuming good faith. I am not intentionally trying to upset you and am trying to guide you on how to navigate Wikipeda. Assuming good faiths in discussions really helps. Again, the best course of action is to take this to the talk page of the article. Debating with me on my talk page won't help. As well, I reviewed your edits and have since made very minor copyedits. I don't think the article is written that terribly. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 08:19, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
- I didn't want to debate with you.But you are still defending that article is still good. You guys were reverting all my edits. If you would have noticed my original edit you could see the difference. I wanted to make this article good. Since you are defending this junk, I am not going to argue with you to correct it. I had great regards on wikipedia articles. That is they reason I wanted to make it better. Keep up the crap work moderator.
- @Xyzabcd007: I appreciate you trying to help improve articles but part of that process is discussion with other editors. Wikipedia is a community project. Editors edit other people's edits, it's just how Wikipedia functions. I am once again going to guide you to the talk page just for good measures okay? On a side note, I want you to know I am not a moderator as in "admin". I'm just an experienced editor who had some concerns. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 09:02, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the guidance and letting me know the process. Article is not corrected yet. Some of experienced editors can think of correcting it.
Pelly and Connolly photos
Hi, I took photos of Devante Smith-Pelly and Brett Connolly in Caps uniforms and had a friend add them to their Wikipedia pages in place of old photos from old teams, but then they were removed. How do I make it so newer photos that I given explicit permission to show on Wikipedia go up without someone reverting? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Benjaminsumner (talk • contribs) 03:18, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Benjaminsumner: Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for trying to expand a Wikipedia article, we could always use pictures! The pictures you are talking about were removed by a bot (Filedelinkerbot) for copyright violations. You must have physically taken those photos or must be able to show that you own the rights to those photos to be uploaded onto Wikipedia. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 03:21, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Benjaminsumner: Don't worry, there are processes to provide copyright permission and undelete images which have already been removed. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 03:29, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

- @MasterDawson: Hello and welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions! The reason I reverted your edits was because they didn't really add anything to the article. Your comment that many fans liked it was already discussed in detail beforehand so it seemed unnecessary. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 04:42, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
where it was discussed?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by MasterDawson (talk • contribs) 04:43, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- @MasterDawso: It says "Upon release, the film met with mixed reviews from film critics and received polarising reactions to Karan Johar's "larger-than-life" directorial style, with some seeing it as an "oddly hollow film". " You stating "It was liked a lot by all the audience" wasn't very constructive because it a) contradicts what the sentence says (mixed reviews) but also b) somewhat repeats it since "mixed reviews" means some people liked it. Jesperi Kotkaniemi
I feel like Marc Bergevin is a bad GM and this further proves the point. I do feel like it is a popular opinion as he was projected to go late 1st round. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CODGTAFANATIC (talk • contribs) 06:00, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
- @CODGTAFANATIC: I don't disagree with you but that is a personal opinion. On Wikipedia we strive for a neutral point of view and saying he should've traded down for more picks is a personal opinion. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 06:05, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
Whats the point of having a neutral view? — Preceding unsigned comment added by CODGTAFANATIC (talk • contribs) 06:06, 25 June 2018 (UTC) Also is there a website to get free Images for wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by CODGTAFANATIC (talk • contribs) 06:08, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
- @CODGTAFANATIC: The point is so that all information is represented fairly, proportionately, and without personal bias. I feel you can mention that he was projected to be a late draft pick but saying what the GM should have done is a personal opinion and doesn't have a place in Wikipedia.
- For the picture question; not that I know of. I know that sometimes professional photographers give Wikipedia licence to use their photos from Flickr and we have some awesome editors that go to hockey games and take pictures with really good quality cameras but that's all I know. Maybe check out the WP:Helpdesk. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 06:10, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
- So Flickr Would be a go to?
- @CODGTAFANATIC: Well no. As far as I know, these people took the photos, posted them on Flickr, and then uploaded them on Wikipedia proving they owned the copyright. Check out Justin Holl's photo for example. The uploader was Lindsay Mogle who works for the AHL. She took the photo, uploaded it onto Flickr, proved she owned the copyright to it, and graciously uploaded it onto Wikipedia for us to use. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 06:16, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
- What if it says All rights reserved? does that mean i dont have permission? I want a picture of Svechnikov and I found one but idk if i can use it.
- @CODGTAFANATIC: Yes, it means you can't use it. If you have more detailed questions I think I will have to pass you off to someone like Diannaa or Ellin Beltz if you need further details. They are more knowledgable than I am on this topic. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 06:23, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

GQ edit
Hello, The GQ removal wasn't a mistake. The charges of sexism section is without merit entirely. The first sentence (citation 14) is purely baseless editorializing on images of women. The next two citations have to back them up random opinion articles which are no better than blogs. This is why I suggested it be removed. Let me know your opinions on this. At the very least citation 14 should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.36.3.37 (talk) 23:53, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
- Hello and thank you for leaving me a message. After glancing over the section some more I agree with your statement and have since started a discussion on the article's talk page. It can be viewed here. I'm going to wait and see if other editors have their own two cents (including yourself of course) to add and then I will start editing the page. You are also free to edit the page, just make sure to use edit summaries and don't break our three revert rule. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 03:05, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
