The need for reliable and verifiable sources

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia again. Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia based on what reliable and verifiable sources have to say about a subject, and we have our own meanings for those words, which you should read at WP:RS and WP:Verify. This is coupled with a policy that says that original research should not be placed in articles, and to understand what that means, you should read WP:OR. Thus if you want to say "Eretz Acheret has had measurable impact on Israeli society through its print magazine" then you need to have a reliable, verifiable source for this. At the moment, the article reads more like an advertisement than like the sort of article you would expect to find in an encyclopedia. It also lacks reliable third party sources which it needs, the sources are basically from the magazine or its editor. Also, if you have any relationship to the magazine then you should acknowledge it, see WP:COI. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 09:03, 30 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
