The page Barry stuppler has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the content of the page appeared to be blatant advertising which only promoted something, and which was unlikely to be suitable for an article (or at best would need a fundamental rewrite). Wikipedia is not a medium for promotion of anything, whether a company, product, group, service, person, religious or political belief, or anything else. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Talkback
editHey, I have left you a note at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions#I got deleted. It is important that we do things in the way I described, because we might be able to get your boss onto Wikipedia's main page! Ryan Vesey Review me! 19:16, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
- In addition, proposals that you add will probably be added in 3 hours or so. Sorry for the delay. Ryan Vesey Review me! 19:18, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
- How are you doing? I apologize for the difficulties that can arise when you first start editing, but [lease see my comment. Your suggested username won't work because it is still promotional. A great idea would be to use your personal name, or if you wish you could change it to something like User:Coinlover (although that would be more difficult and would require a Usurpation) or something similar. I could argue that MintStateGold is actually a classification for deciding the worth of a piece of gold, but for ease of getting this project completed I'll just change it to my own name. I saw your link about how to upload the photo and we do own the rights to it, so I will try to get that done as well. Thanks again for everything.BarryStuppler (talk) 20:44, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
So, I changed my username, but now I don't know how to log in so that I can upload that picture. I tried logging in with the old Barry Stuppler info, I tried logging in with my new username but old password. Nothing worked. BarryStuppler (talk) 22:41, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
- So you tried setting your username to HoytHeather and your password to your old password? Ryan Vesey Review me! 23:11, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
When I went to the link to change my userpage name, it never said anything about changing the password. So, then when I went to that commons page to upload the photo it said I needed to log in. When I tried to log in, the BarryStuppler user page is deleted, and the HoytHeather page I couldn't log into because the username and password I have is for the old BarryStuppler user page that doesn't exist anymore. I'm SO confused. BarryStuppler (talk) 23:18, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
- Ahh, I think I know your problem. Log into your HoytHeather one on Wikipedia, then go to Special:MergeAccount. That should do the trick! Ryan Vesey Review me! 23:26, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Alright, so I uploaded the photo of Barry to the commons page under the HoytHeather username. Here's the link: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Barry_Stuppler_Photo.jpg. Please let me know what else I can do to get his page looking a little more full. I noticed on a lot of the pages, they have a section called "See also" and they list links to other wiki pages that are relevant to them. I had a list of those that I was going to put on his page before it got deleted. Any thoughts on that? Thanks again! HoytHeather (talk) 17:01, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- It would be great if you could list any additions you would like to make on Talk:Barry Stuppler. Can you think of particularly relevant see also links that don't appear in the body of the article? The most important information that isn't included is information on his birth date and birth place. Do you have a reliable source for information on that?
