editThanks for uploading File:Sr71cool.JPEG. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. Using an image from Commons
editIf you want to use an image from Commons, you don't have to separately upload it here - you can just link to the image on Commons directly (as I have done with the image to the right). I assume you were trying to scale down the image. You can do that as a parameter to the file command. I have fixed your user page to do what I believe you were trying to do. --B (talk) 04:43, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for reverting your recent experiment with the page Cobalt-60. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead, as someone could see your test before you revert it. Thank you. Kolbasz (talk) 15:54, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Kolbasz (talk) 15:54, 25 April 2015 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Jasper Deng. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Template:Infobox element because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jasper Deng (talk) 04:02, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
Your addition to Template:Infobox polonium has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Materialscientist (talk) 04:10, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Template:Infobox nickel. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Materialscientist (talk) 10:33, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Nickel, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Czeer (talk) 18:07, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
I beleive you have made a mistake and that you should follow up with the page at Template talk:Infobox nickel
- Hi there! I appreciate that you're trying to make the page better. I believe the image that you are replacing with Nickel chunk.jpg is meant to illustrate electrorefining. Nickel chunk.jpg doesn't help the reader imagine or understand the process/product, and isn't very relevant to that part of the article. Best, Czeer (talk) 23:29, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Swarm ♠ 01:02, 18 August 2015 (UTC)

Request reason:
I beleive that the images i switched on Nickel and [Infobox:Nickel]] are better than the last. Also it matches the other boxes that are shown to have a cube and another form of the element. The cube shows Nickel in its purest form. Also I was busy editing another page before I was unexpectedly editblocked. ¤☢λmericium☢¤ (talk) 07:10, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Apart from the irrelevant remark about editing another article, what you are saying is that you should not be blocked for edit warring, because you believe that your edit was an improvement. The warning you were given about edit warring says "Do not edit war even if you believe you are right", as you can see if you look further up on this page. Wikipedia's policy on edit warring is, basically, "don't edit war", not "don't edit war unless you are convinced that you are right". Indeed, it would be completely meaningless to have an edit warring policy which exempted any editor who was convinced that he or she was right, as in most edit wars everybody involved thinks they are right. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 13:43, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

editYou said your information was official, great, where'd you get it. Since you don't know how to cite it, send me a link or email me a copy and I'll do that for you. However, until that happens, I'm going to revert your information as unsourced material shouldn't replace sourced information. Please don't revert me again before sending me the info, as that goes against wiki policy.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 12:13, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
I got this info from http://www.wvi.com/~sr71webmaster/d21~1.htm. I'm sorry if my reverts where bothersome. Some of the information that I tried to edit wasn't accurate to the website because I got some stuff mixed up

Thanks for signing up for this project. It is a very busy and active project with lots going on and we can always use more help and especially a fresh set of eyes. If you haven't done so already you might want to add Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aircraft to your watch list as this is where much of the background discussion occurs. You may also want to watch Wikipedia:New articles (Aircraft) as this is where newly created articles get listed for peer review. Having a look over these new articles is a great way to get a feel for how things are done on the project and also most new articles need reviewing anyway. If you have any questions you can leave me a note or post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aircraft, either way you will get a quick response. - Ahunt (talk) 22:13, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for the help. Since I havn't I added them both to my watchlist. I will be very glad to help out with the project. If you want to discuss something please feel free to, @ my talk page. Since I had work to do at my Userpage I wasn't able to help out. I'm done so I will be starting today.
Best regards, λmericium ¤ 07:53, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

SwisterTwister talk 06:40, 9 January 2016 (UTC)Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution
editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Americium into Americium-241. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:30, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
editHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:10, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
