Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, I noticed that your username (IAC-Israel Museum) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it gives the impression that this account is registered to a group or organization. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account to use for editing. Thank you. P. D. CookTalk to me!15:13, 27 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your comments, I am at the Israel Museum, and am writing a first article for a new project, with Wikipedia Israel concerning "Israeli artists". It was their suggestion to have the user name denote the "Israeli Art Information Center" and "The Israel Museum, Jerusalem". We have only begun yesterday to test the waters and appreciate your feedback. We are working on preparing a project page. Do you think IAC-IMJ is better? I am the first of many that will be involved in this project. IAC is one dept, there will be others. I have a personal user name Drkup (IAC-Israel Museum (talk) 04:06, 29 July 2011 (UTC))Reply

I am unblocking this account. According to Wikipedia:Username policy, Users who adopt such usernames, but who are not editing problematically in related articles, should not be blocked. Instead, they should be gently encouraged to change their username.
I know this user in real life and i confirm that the work done from it is done in perfectly good faith. Maybe the name should be changed, but the account must not be blocked. Please discuss this with me before blocking the account again. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 15:14, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes. At the recommendation of Liam Wyatt from the Foundation I was told the following "If you can make a personal one with the institution`s name at the end, that would be better. Here, for example, is one of the Wikimedia Foundation's staff's userpage: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Steven_(WMF)
As a volunteer he edits as user:steven Walling but as an employee he edits as user:steven (WMF) with a description on both of those pages explaining his affiliation. " — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.173.138.7 (talk) 06:17, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 12:41, 15 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

I moved Moshe Gershuni's photo manually over to Commons. Here it is at Commons. I updated the photo on his English wiki page to point to the commons one. Could you change the Hebrew wiki page?
I updated Gershuni's article. Here is what I did. I used citation templates. The template does the proper syntax so you don't have to remember how to do it. More info on the templates are found at WP:CIT. Bgwhite (talk) 21:52, 16 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thank you - i have a few questiosn regarding the removal fo some links
The link to Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design was deleted in the description
The indication of Jewish, as we also have Israeli Arab artist. similar to noting gender in art history it is acceptable to write what style as Jewish is considered a stream of art history not a religion here, similar to this is the gender if an artist is a women and that is an important part of the art they create them this fact is regarded as a movement or stream of art.
I haven't in the least given up on you. You are doing great.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean about "Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design was deleted in the description". I did remove a wikilink of Bezalel in the "Career" section. Generally you should only have a one wikilink in the article, not including the infobox. There is a wikilink of Bezalel in the "Teaching" section above "Education". So, I removed the wikilink in the "Education" section.
I'm assuming you mean the removal of Jewish from "Nationality" in the infobox. Religion, race and sexual orientation in infoboxes are a big controversy on Wikipedia. The official policy is to include religion if it is important to what makes them notable. Some obvious ones would include articles on Rabbis, those killed at the Munich Olympics or those performing in Yiddish theater in the U.S. Personally I'd leave it out as you are doing Israeli artists and not Jewish-Israeli artists. Also, Israeli is the nationality. There is not a nationality that is Jewish-Israeli. With that being said, "Jewish" or "Arab" goes beyond religion and into what culture one identifies with. Also, as you said above, it is a stream of art history. The "Movement" in the infobox, there is now "Israeli Art". Having "Jewish Art" is valid. Is there a Jewish-Israeli movement that you can add there? If not, maybe mention Jewish in the article. I don't know exactly what to do. You know better than I, so use your best judgement.
I did capitalize Nahum Tevet's name yesterday.
Looks like somebody already beat me to Lilian Klapisch. Lillian Klapisch (LL) now redirects to Lilian Klapisch (L).

Thanks for uploading File:Moshe Murro - Copper plates.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Thank you for uploading File:Moshe Murro 8.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Where exactly did you get the photo? Do you have a web address for it? Let's see if I can figure out the copyright status.
Wikipedia people are very, very picky about photos' copyright status. A photo has to be in the public domain, have a proper license (CC-SA) or permission from the copyright holder. Bgwhite (talk) 20:58, 18 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. I hadn't seen any new articles from you, so I thought you were off relaxing.
There are a few places where one can see new articles that have been created. Special:NewPages is the logs of all new articles that get created that are done by "untrusted" editors. By "untrusted", I mean the editor has created alot of new articles. People look at the logs to find new articles that clearly don't belong (hoax, garbled words, nonsense).
There are database reports that get created. I use one of these. A report is generated of any biography of a living person. A bot (computer program) tags these with a biography banner on the article's talk page. I see what the bot tagged. I manually add some meta-data and look for articles that might not meet the requirements to be an article.... So, that is why I see the new articles you created. A tag has been placed on Guy Ben-Ner requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

Hi - I understand you've mostly worked on the Hebrew WP until now. In the English WP, the adherence to the article sourcing rules are much stricter. So (a) please source your articles with references, and (b) please make those references inline citations. (It's not hard to learn, if you need help let me know. It's pretty much must-have knowledge for repeat contributors to WP). Kol HaKavod on the new initiative, good luck!--Sreifa (talk) 04:36, 20 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've been updating the Wikipedia:GLAM/IMJ page. I haven't written anything new, just organized it with the same pattern the other Glams have it.
The biggie is the "Project Statistics" at the bottom of the page. Hopefully this will allow better tracking of all the articles. If you place the {{WikiProject Israel Museum, Jerusalem}} tag on an article's talk page it will show up on the table. The table updates once every three days. I'm not finished with all the infrastructure... Will get it done over the next few days.

A page you created, Walter Zadek, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

I also put a word in about Walter Zadek's deletion.
Could you start using the templates that have been created. I just updated Efrat Natan to use the templates. The templates do two things... One, it keeps the look consistent. Two, if the links in any way change in the future, hopefully will only have to change the information on the template itself rather than updating all the articles with the new link.
The Information Center for Israeli Art template ({{IMJ-IAC}}), should be used in the reference section. For Efrat Natan, I placed the template under "General" because the article was small and information from the template was used for most of the article. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on James S. Snyder requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. The Snyder bio is a copy/paste of copyrighted material, presented in an inappropriate tone. Since Mr. Snyder is clearly notable, a rewritten, non-infringing version would be in order. Acroterion(talk)14:53, 2 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from James S. Snyder. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:
This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.
Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willingly to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 18:10, 2 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I don't know Hebrew to do this, but there needs to be an interlanguage link on both the Hebrew and English versions of each artist's article. Here's is the help page. All you need to do is add a [[language code:Title]] tag. When this is added, a link on the left hand side menu will be displayed for the the other language's version of the article. Hi. We need verification of license to use the content copied into the article Raffi Lavie. Some of this content was placed by User:Ndreiss, but given your evident affiliation with the IMJ you may be able to help verify this content anyway. As long as that website reserves all rights, we will have to verify through external means. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the process. You can see more information, including a list of articles affected, at User talk:Ndreiss#Copyright problem: Yohanan Simon.
Thank you, but this does not concern the images, but the text. The letter you link specifically mentions the attached images. We need verification of permission for text as well. We will either need a permission letter with a full list of articles into which content has been pasted or a general license letter releasing all content from the museum, unless they wish to modify their website to release the material there. If they decide to do that general release, please let me know, and I will take care of the administrative end of things here. If they choose instead to send a letter, if you can let me know that, I'll make sure that the content is not deleted prematurely before the letter is processed. --Moonriddengirl(talk)14:22, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

That would be a very good idea. This matter came to my attention when another contributor deleted the content from an article in compliance with Wikipedia:Copyright violations. He would have had no way to know if permission had been provided. If permission is supplied for the text, it's essential to put a note on the talk page of the article indicating as much to prevent this happening. I can help create a template so that the note can be easily added once there is tangible verification of license, whether that is at the museum's website or a separate letter to OTRS. Since this matter concerns the English Wikipedia, I would strongly recommend sending your letter in the English language to help avoid future problems, when those who have worked with the issue directly may not be available to answer questions. --Moonriddengirl(talk)14:29, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Please note that on all the 50 artist we worked on on the talk page of the article we noted that this item is part of our collaborative project: "WikiProject Israel Museum, Jerusalem" Drkup(IMJ) (talk) 14:33, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Allison emailed me last night about helping out on an other article. I'll also take a look at Raffi Lavie and see if I can re-write the article. I'd rather re-write than go thru OTRS. I'd almost rather have a colonoscopy than deal with OTRS. I'll look at it in about 6hrs. Bgwhite (talk) 23:34, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
You are of course very welcome to rewrite the content (always a valid way to deal with the issue), but I'm afraid that you need to be aware that this is just one of many articles. :) There are ten total listed at User talk:Ndreiss#Copyright problem: Yohanan Simon, and there may be more that have not yet been discovered. Truly, the easiest thing to do might be for the museum to release the content directly at their site (no OTRS involvement), although it wouldn't help with content from e-Flux. --Moonriddengirl(talk)23:38, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I didn't know there were that many articles. Yea, that would be the easiest route. If the museum can't release the content, could one of you make sure to tell me... I'd like to help rewriting the articles if needed. Bgwhite (talk) 06:30, 23 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
That would be great. I'll make a note now at the copyright problems board listing to do that to make sure that I don't forget or that, if another admin deals with it, they know. :) --Moonriddengirl(talk)10:35, 23 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Good news - I have cleared up the issue with Permissions - Wikimedia Commons [permissions-commons@wikimedia.org] and have Ticket#2012051310002101 which states "Texts permissions". Can you please help me reinstate all the texts? Thank you. Drkup(IMJ) (talk) 05:09, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! The texts have been reinstated and all permission documented in the existing articles. Since the permission is liberal to include all the artist descriptions in that list, I have created a simple template that can be used to acknowledge the authorization for future content at Wikipedia:GLAM/IMJ OTRS. Directions are on that page. This template is pretty important to avoid the material being removed for copyright problems by people who do not know that permission has been verified and to make sure that the rights of the museum are honored. --Moonriddengirl(talk)11:50, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello Drkup(IMJ),
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged List of public art in Israel/row for deletion, because it doesn't seem to have any encyclopedic content.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

Hello Drkup(IMJ),
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged List of public art in Israel/row for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
While this is nowhere near qualifying for speedy deletion, I would suggest that you move it somewhere better (perhaps to templatespace?), because people can easily find it by accident, e.g. through Special:Random. Meanwhile, List of public art in Israel is all gibberish due to some sort of template malfunction; it will need to have some sort of code fixed. I've protected the "row" page for 24 hours to keep Barney from repeatedly tagging it; if you want to edit it before the protection ends, let me know and I'll unprotect it. Thank you for your help - I am not sure what to do - I think this image will confuse people as he is the photographer not the person in the picture. I don't have a photo of him - only of photos he took. What do you think? I am in the process of fixing his name (phonetic spelling in Hebrew could go two ways) see these as well
Oh I missed that it was the photographer and not the subject. I would think that as it was his work, and thus his defining attribute, that you could add more off these photographs to the gallery. Pity there is no image of him, but many photographers have few or no images of themselves so difficult to find one. KylieTastic (talk) 00:23, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Zuidpoldermolen, Edam, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Edam (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). A tag has been placed on Judith Guedalia, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of http://www.szmc.org.il/departments/neuropsychology/tabid/1272/default.aspx. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 19:06, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi Drkup,
I just saw your activity in creating/maintaining WPIMJ, and noticed you requested feedback about your first article, Larry Abramson. So I'd like to talk about two things:
The article is about a living person, meaning it has higher referencing requirements. In general, Wikipedians will not delete unsourced content about living people if it doesn't sound controversial, but any Wikipedian is within the right to remove any content in the article that doesn't have a source. Controversial statements must be removed. Therefore I strongly encourage you to add sources to all the facts in the article.
I saw that you changed the WikiProject ratings for this article to A-class (WPIMJ) and C-class (for other projects). While you are free to rate it as you see fit for your WikiProject, since you are the unofficial manager of this project, I highly recommend using the standard scale that is used for other projects. A-class is especially notable because it usually comes higher than GA-class, which requires a peer review process at WP:GAN. For other projects: the article is not C-class because of #1 above. It can really only be rated as start-class. Please use the standard scale if you want to assess for other projects.
Finally, please consider adding shortcuts like WP:IMJ to your project. Let me know if you need any assistance about this or anything else.
I saw it was reverted before I had a chance to answer you - it is not our policy, at present, to note all the artists with works in our collections. By doing so in this article you are ignoring that this same statement can be said for all these artists here and in such showing favoritism - or so I feel. This is not an exact science. Instead, what we have done for all the artist we work on, we add a link to items that are online from our collection created by the artist see larry Abramson for example using this template. Take care Drkup(IMJ) (talk) 14:47, 18 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
I am a bit confused by the answer, since I am really not getting it :) I come across the article as a review and as en editor noticed her works are part of IMJ collection which I reflected in the article. I don't see any sign of favoritism in it. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 15:27, 18 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Eran Neuman2.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:32, 10 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Thank you for uploading File:Eran Neuman.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Karl Katz, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Thanks for uploading File:Logo Torah VeHa’aretz Institute.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Good day, I am running a session on how to create articles in Wikipedia on Israeli Art, see link here. Hi, of course you can work on the article, but you will have to do it in the draft space. The content isn't lost, it has just been taken away from public view because it was not adequately sourced. Modussiccandi (talk) 09:53, 6 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Drkup(IMJ). I noticed that your recent edit to Moshe Spitzer added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external sources on Wikipedia. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. If the image meets Wikipedia's image use policy, consider uploading it to Wikipedia yourself or request that someone else upload it. See the image tutorial to learn about wiki syntax used for images. Thank you. SamSailor19:38, 12 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your help. We are currently contributing with a group effort during a month long Covid workshop called "Information Center for Israeli Art Volunteers Edit Wikipedia 2020" and will be next working on uploading the images. See link. Drkup(IMJ) (talk) 09:56, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shlomit Haber-Schaim until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.
Good day, I am running a session on how to create articles in Wikipedia on Israeli Art, see link here. The session will last one month and will include senior citizen Volunteers with knowledge about Israeli Art. I request to keep the page live so that we can work on it as a team. Thank you for your help. We are currently contributing with a group effort during a month long Covid workshop called "Information Center for Israeli Art Volunteers Edit Wikipedia 2020". See link.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Shlomit Haber-Schaim requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://museum.imj.org.il/artcenter/newsite/en/?artist=Haber-Schaim%2C+Shlomit&list=H. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa (talk) 14:11, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading File:Karl Katz.jpg.

Thanks for uploading File:Logo Torah VeHa’aretz Institute.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Hello, Drkup(IMJ). It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Tala Ziv".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Order of the British Empire, appears to have been inappropriate, and has been reverted. Please feel free to use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Thanks for uploading File:Rabbi Abraham Levy OBE2.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:31, 25 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Can you please help me put back the images that have been deleted - I am not sure what I did wrong when creating the images but I have permission from the family to upload the images. Would you like me to scan a signed permission from the family? Thank you Drkup(IMJ) (talk) 00:12, 2 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
We can't take images with just permission - everything on wikipedia needs to be reusable by others. Wikipedia:Image use policy gives details. We'd need the person who owns the copyright in the photographs (which is most likely the photographer not the subject's family) to formally release them under a license that would allow re-use and modification, like some of the Creative Commons licenses. An article you recently created, Els Bendheim, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969TT me10:09, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:SSF CREST LOGO.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it.
I have added the source. Please note the image is also used on the Hebrew wiki matching page but could not figure out how to use it so redid it. Maybe they should both be uploaded to the commons. See hereDrkup(IMJ) (talk) 13:50, 9 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your contributions to Hatzalah Without Borders. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources and it needs more sources to establish notability.
Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
