Deletion discussion about 2022 Mapandan local elections

[edit]

Hello IJeskanEditorV1, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, 2022 Mapandan local elections, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2022 Mapandan local elections.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Yoblyblob}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

@Yoblyblob: Hello Yoblyblob,
I’m currently maintaining the article titled "2025 Mapandan Local Elections" in preparation for the upcoming elections. The page hasn’t gained much traction yet, as I’m still in the process of gathering and adding verifiable information.
Thank you for your message! ~~~~ IJeskanEditorV1 (talk) 14:04, 5 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Please leave your comment on the deletion discussion here, the article could be retained if you can show that there will be sources with verifiable, reliable content created that could be added to the page Yoblyblob (Talk) :) 15:02, 5 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
A possible solution is also to have the article temporarily moved to draft space, then moved back to main space when the article does have sourcing Yoblyblob (Talk) :) 15:02, 5 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello, I mistakenly sent multiple UTRS appeals which may have been flagged as spam. I want to clarify that I am the account owner (still logged in on the mobile app) but cannot reset my password because my current IP is blocked. I am not requesting a permanent IP block exemption — only a temporary unblock of my current IP so I can log in on desktop and reset my account password. I will comply with any verification steps required and promise to be careful when editing. Thank you. IJeskanEditorV1 (talk) 10:35, 3 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

We cannot help you unless you tell us your IP; if you don't want to post it publicly, you'll have to wait until you can regain access to UTRS. It will also help to know the exact message you are seeing; I didn't think IP blocks prevented resetting a password. 331dot (talk) 15:10, 3 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Update on IP

[edit]

Hello, I’d like to apologize for the confusion earlier.

It appears that the IP address which was blocked may have been one provided by a VPN. I wasn’t familiar with how VPNs work at the time, so I may have accidentally tried to reset my password while connected to a VPN-provided IP.

I now understand that this could have caused issues, and I have since disconnected and removed my VPN to avoid any further problems.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:58, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

2028 Pangasinan local elections moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 2028 Pangasinan local elections, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
