Disputed fair use rationale for Image:51GRCCMXWDL. SS500 .jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:51GRCCMXWDL. SS500 .jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 20:13, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Ascendancy award
editHello,
I see that back in 2005 you updated the Ascendancy page and noted that Ascendancy was awarded "Best Strategy Software of 1996 by PC Gamer". I am trying to find a reference for this. Do you know in which issue the award was given? I see in a November 1995 review William Trotter said "Ascendancy is strategy game of the year" (see here), but I'm wondering if that is something different from the award you mentioned.
Thanks. I realize a lot of time has passed since your edit, but I thought I'd try :) --Culix (talk) 04:14, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
- I just realized that the Nov 1995 PC Gamer review gave Ascendancy the "PC Gamer Editor's Choice award", so I have updated the article to say that. If you know where the "Best Strategy Software" award came from that would still be great. --Culix (talk) 17:11, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
