Please consider this a formal warning for edit warring. This behavior can lead to a block. You need to provide independent reliable sources that show that this character is notable. The show's own website is not independent and does not show notabilty. Please self-revert or you may possibly be blocked. Thank you. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 00:19, 12 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Wikia is not a reliable source and I have removed that reference. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 00:23, 12 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Can I kindly ask that you remove all the other characters of Wentworth off wikipedia, who have pages that are referenced in the same manner, rather than just penalising me, then?

I have just removed the whole article (please check that I have done it correctly). I spent over an hour on it - what a waste of time. I'm very cross about this to be honest - several other character from the show have wikipedia pages and are referenced in the same manner, which have not been removed, so why you have issue with mine, I haven't a clue. Nonetheless I don't want to risk being blocked and therefore have done as you requested.

No, I will not do that. I do not know whether or not those other character articles comply with our standards. This is not a penalty, it is an insistence that new articles meet our standards. At this point, I am concerned about your behavior on this specific article and nothing more. If you want to edit Wikipedia, then you must comply with our policies and guidelines. Start by reading Your first article very carefully. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 00:37, 12 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
The point I am trying to make to you is that because several other character articles are done so in the way I have refer to, I was under the impression I was editing Wikipedia to your standards. Obviously not. Like I said, I don't want to risk being blocked and therefore have done as you requested.
I certainly understand how you could think that. However, Wikipedia has 5,696,105 articles at this time, and I am confident in saying that well over a million of them are in very poor shape. Experienced editors work contantly to clean them up or delete them. Do not use any existing article as a template or model for a new article unless it is a Good article or a Featured article. Those articles have gone through rigorous peer review and are examples of how Wikipedia articles should be written.
Fictional characters can be notable and deserving of Wikipedia articles. But this is the case only when reliable sources that have nothing whatsoever to do with the TV show, movie, book, comic book or whatever, devote significant coverage to that character. Passing mentions are not enough. Otherwise, the characters should be discussed in the main article about the work of fiction. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 01:28, 12 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Just wanted to say that I've added a section for Sonia to the List of Wentworth characters that you may wish to expand upon. - JuneGloom07 Talk 13:47, 12 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I will.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I accepted this article even though there weren't quite enough sources. I decided to fix it up myself :) In the future, try to have a few more sources (five or six minimum) and ideally better in-line citations too. Thanks! Thank you - I really appreciate your contributions. I struggle with in-line citations, so thanks for your help with that. May I ask why you removed the YouTube links, that I included? They were clips of the songs performed on the tour. Ilikedietcola (talk) 12:09, 27 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
