Regarding the car flowchart
editWhy are the terms petrol and gas both used? This is confusing to the reader, it should be edited to one or the other. thanks131.231.196.136 (talk) 20:52, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Your revert on the Japan-Korea relations
editCould you reply in the talk page instead of reverting? Thanks. (Wikimachine 04:08, 23 February 2007 (UTC))
Rename of Yun Jang-ho
editYou renamed Yun Jang-ho to Yoon Jang-ho. However, Korean names should be romanized according to Revised Romanization per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Korean)#Romanization of names, unless sources indicate a preference by the nameholder. Can you discuss your sources on the article's talk page? Thank you. YooChung 07:08, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Korea women's national basketball team, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Axolotl Nr.733 (talk) 12:09, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

- On an unrelated note, Fuel economy in automobiles makes mention of Ecodriving and other related terms in subsections, but the terms are not so interchangeable as to warrant the weighty mention you recently introduced. Happy editing, MrZaiustalk 14:10, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Korean diaspora template
editI don't see evidence that most of those groups you added are notable. There's certainly a possibility for an article on Koreans in Norway/Denmark/Sweden since there are in total tens of thousands of adoptees there, and scholars (e.g. Tobias Hübinette) have written studies of those populations. And I'm working on an article about Koreans in Cambodia in my sandbox; they've also received some attention due to their rapid growth to more than 4,000 individuals in such a short space of time. But there's barely a few hundred Koreans in Greece or Portugal and I doubt they've even had a proper column written about them in a major newspaper. 18:29, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Suggestions for future edits
editHi Intershark,
A few suggestions for your future edits - please include edit summaries (Help:Edit summary), especially with things like page moves and text deletion. Also, please review Help:Minor edit - some of your edits, including page moves and the addition of content, are not considered minor, though you have marked them as such. If you have any questions, I might be able to help - just leave a note on my talk page. Dialectric (talk) 12:34, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm not sure if that was a joke or not, but I undid your move. See WP:RM next time. DC T•C 04:43, Friday October 15, 2010 (UTC)
Red links in the see also section
editYou have added several red links in see also section of several articles, e.g. Kim Jong-nam. Per WP:SEEALSO, the "See also" section should not link to pages that do not exist (red links). Please refrain from such additions in the future. Thank you. --Kusunose 08:13, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
- Please stop adding red links to see also sections as well as hatnotes with a red link. See also sections and hatnotes are meant to be navigational aid and red links are not helpful there. --Kusunose 11:46, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

editThank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Japanophile, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. SudoGhost 00:11, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ameri Ichinose. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. – PeeJay 23:13, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 17
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Shin-Soo Choo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Running Man (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Korean Wave Index
editSoutheast Asia as I thought is the third largest region with the most of Korean wave fans outside of Korea behind China (HK and Macau are included) and Japan where Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand have the most fans as well, why do you put the Philippines on minority interest stage, thank you ~~Gilang Bayu~~
East Asian topics
editBased on these two citations here, ethnic Koreans refer to themselves as (Korean: 조선 사람), both of which literally mean "Joseon people" derived from the Joseon dynasty.[1][2]
February 2018
editHello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Template:East Asian topics, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Backendgaming (talk) 23:29, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Template:East Asian topics, you may be blocked from editing. Backendgaming (talk) 23:37, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Template:East Asian topics. Backendgaming (talk) 23:50, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
August 2018
editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Backup, you may be blocked from editing.
- Don't add non-existing pages as "See Also". Don't add irrelevant links to video games to articles. If you keep up your disruptive editing, you'll be blocked. JohnInDC (talk) 11:44, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 13
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Robert K. Hur, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page South Korean. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

editHello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! DoctorMatt (talk) 18:49, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
