edit Hello, I'm Donner60. An edit you recently made to El Jaleo seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 02:34, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your pointing out to me that your edits were in good faith. I mistakenly focused only on the word "deception." I think you may have meant to use a different word unless there is a technicality of which I am unaware. In any event, please review whether you really want to use that word. Unfortunately, the reversion carried with it the reversion of everything back to the last edit by someone else. (This is usually not a problem but proved to be one in this case.) The rest of your edits seem proper. So I am deleting the above message in the manner prescribed by the guidelines (strike through). I also have restored your edits (including the word "deception" so please look at that). Here are some links to pages that can be helpful guidelines for writing for Wikipedia:

Edith Mack Hirsch moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Edith Mack Hirsch, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. AfC notification: Draft:Edith Mack Hirsch has a new comment
editJuly 2022
editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Edith Mack Hirsch. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! editHello, I'm Yoshi24517. I noticed that in this edit to Abbott Lawrence, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 22:46, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for your edits at Lenape Stone
editBut as I have a copy of Ken's book I've revised that paragraph to reflect what it says. Using Who Wrote That? I was able to see how text not in the source had been added and one tiny error made. I also tweaked the lead slightly. Doug Weller talk 12:53, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
