Mass Rapid Transit Page
editHi, the correct number of stations is 106. Please go and count on the system map. Interchange stations count as ONE station and you can't just add the numbers up to get 125. 33ryantan (talk) 00:12, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Mz7. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Lee's Family Reunion, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Lee's Family Reunion, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.68.199.203 (talk) 12:14, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
North South and East West Line edits
editHi,
Thanks for your edits, but the information you provided is already present in the "Overview" section of the two articles. For the rolling stock, it is understood that the trains that ply the East West Line also plies the NSL. If a user needs more info, he/she can check out the respective rolling stock articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Guysayshi (talk • contribs) 12:21, 22 June 2017 (UTC)

editPlease watch your manners. This is childish and discourteous; if you cannot do better, you will not last long here. Best wishes DBaK (talk) 07:56, 24 July 2017 (UTC)

"out of system transfer" edits
editHi Irobotboy,
Your edits regarding out-of-system transfers to other lines are not necessary as they are too excessively detailed for Wikipedia articles. These contributions will make the MRT articles seem more like a traveller's guide.
Also, I am entirely aware that some of the Downtown Line interchange station transit areas are "public" and not "paid". These include Newton station, Tampines station and Bukit Panjang station. I know these info like the back of my hand, and I'm sure you do too. But they make the articles too complicated. The articles should be concise and not confusing; it should provide more essential information and less trivial information.
Hope this clarifies. Guysayshi (talk) 21:07, 11 October 2017
Just saying, maybe we should migrate and start editing land transport guru? Anyway as guysayshi said Wikipedia is a Encyclopedia and not a traveler guide. If you want to edit travel guides, go to LTG. I understand that we all know about every nook and cranny in the MRT, but please refrain from adding these unimportant info. It is a bit annoying to check my watchlist and see you bulk edit and then someone reverts everything. Stuff such as "unpaid linkway" or "out of system transfer" is unnecessary as foreigners would not check Wikipedia for travel info and locals would already know this. As for the station code, I am rather neutral on it and I would let guysayshi settle it with you. - 1.02 editor (talk) 13:53, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
Station colour codes
editHello. I note your interest in editing the MRT articles and appreciate it.
Please do not however, that Wikipedia articles do not usually feature colours in text or tables. As such, please stop adding the colour codes back into the pages. If you wish to consult me on details, please do feel free to reply.
You may also refer to articles from the London Underground and Beijing Subway for more understanding. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.56.102.223 (talk) 09:49, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
- Hello, please refer to the discussion here. If we still disagree on the style of the line maps, I will refer it to an administrator for mediation.
- I do intend to remove all the coloured codes from all the line pages, except for individual stations, so I hope you can contribute to the discussion there. Seloloving (talk) 12:58, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
- Hello Irobotboy, please do not undo the changes made by other Wikipedians without a reason. Constructive editing which aids both users is preferred, the pages do not belong to you alone. It can lead to misunderstandings and an edit war. I have also referred the matter to an administrator, you may put your points across there.
- Please do join in the conversation. Seloloving (talk) 01:07, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
