editPlease do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. El_C 20:49, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

Critisicm of the Hadith of the Ark moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Critisicm of the Hadith of the Ark, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Image copyright?
editHi, you added an image to the article on beeni, which you claim as your own work. However, the image appears in an online news article from 2018, which is cited as one of the sources. Can you clarify whether you are indeed the photographer, and have managed to get your photo published in the newspaper in question? For now I've commented out (removed) the image from the article, awaiting your reply. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:35, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

The page Draft:Critisicm of the Hadith of the Ark has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Beeni is a sport played in the Indian subcontinent. It is not made up and it is important for people to be made aware of this growing sport Islamdefence (talk) 23:41, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

", not non-existant. Iskandar323 (talk) 09:22, 9 January 2022 (UTC)
It is true that the sport may not be very popular in many areas in the world but it is immensely popular among locals in rural areas and towns in south Asia. I would argue that it is notable but simply not many people know about it to research and develop the article.

editHello, I'm Apaugasma. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Mu'awiya I, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ☿ Apaugasma (talk ☉) 19:14, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, it is largely true that Shias do hold Muawiyah responsible to a large extent for the martyrdom of Imam Hussain. Apart from a few prominent individuals who opposed Muawiyah's selection of Yazeed, Muawiyah was also to persuade, at least passively, the majority of Umayyad Elites, including Marwan I, to accept the rulership of Yazeed. Islamdefence (talk) 19:20, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Mu'awiya I, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. HistoryofIran (talk) 19:19, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- It is a historical fact, beyond the need of sources that Muawiyah did not intervene in the Battle of The Camel militarily. This is a fact that is agreed by both Sunnis and Shias. Islamdefence (talk) 19:20, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- Please read the warnings and click their links. HistoryofIran (talk) 19:28, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Mu'awiya I, you may be blocked from editing. HistoryofIran (talk) 19:28, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- I believe you may have a conflict of interest as per your name and the topic being discussed. I am simply stating a historical fact that Muawiyah did not declare war on either side during the Battle of the Camel and did not intervene militarily. Do you wish to dispute this? Also, threats will not be tolerated and will be reported. Islamdefence (talk) 19:31, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- Kindly keep these theories about me to yourself per WP:ASPERSIONS and WP:NPA. And feel free to report me, will save me the time. HistoryofIran (talk) 20:12, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi Islamdefence! On Wikipedia, we need to make sure that all content is verifiable per our core policy Wikipedia:Verifiability. Readers need to be able to ascertain for themselves in a reliable source that what we are writing is accurate.
Re [1], please note that this section is about the events themselves, not about how Sunni Muslims regard them vs how Shi'i Muslims regard them. Such information, if it is wp:due to mention at all, would belong in the Mu'awiya I#Assessment and legacy section.
A better approach overall is to start by reading relevant reliable sources, and then adding a summary of what you have read in your own words to the Wikipedia article. That way you have a source and chances that it is due to mention are much higher. ☿ Apaugasma (talk ☉) 19:33, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Battle of the Camel. HistoryofIran (talk) 20:06, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
