Welcome!
editWelcome to Wikipedia, IslandVibez! I am Blablubbs and I am the volunteer who received your account request. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. Again, welcome! Blablubbs (talk) 10:14, 18 July 2021 (UTC)

COI?
editHello, IslandVibez. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Albert Bryan (politician), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 23:00, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
Hello Orange Mike, I would like to request that you create article for Yolanda Cabodevilla, First Lady of the US Virgin Islands.IslandVibez (talk) 03:17, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- IslandVibez, you did not respond to the administrator's message re: WP:COI. Orangemike and Drmies, it may be relevant to know whether this account is associated with the IP range that Drmies blocked for three months because of edits at Albert Bryan (politician). 2601:188:180:B8E0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 16:26, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
IslandVibez, it has been explained to you, a time or two, what you need to do, and what you can do on Wikipedia. It all starts with disclosing your conflict of interest. You chose not to do so. OrangeMike, I think I just placed my first two UPE blocks; the other is on User talk:Unite USA, who shows a relation with this account but not enough for a CU block. Obviously (99), I cannot comment on the IP range I blocked earlier, but for your viewing pleasure I offer this, User talk:2600:1700:1FA0:2120:2864:2EBB:482E:F59. Drmies (talk) 16:37, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
Please unblock me the article named Albert Bryan (politician) had wrong information so I were correcting it. IslandVibez (talk) 16:41, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- IslandVibez, which part of "explain and disclose your COI" is unclear to you? That is the first thing you need to do. Drmies (talk) 17:51, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
